Took advantage of the 4 July sale at MetalCloak to start the armor install on the new Stroppe; skids for the front lower control arms, rear lower control arms, and rear differential. Quality stuff made here in America. . .
Unfortunately, the MetalCloak rear shock skids don’t fit the Hoss...
Good catch. Rear hatch was removed, and I gave it to them without the spare. Shop said they “accommodated” the weight of the spare when aligning, but is a 1/8” off. Did not really notice it, but the shop was able to re-align the rear hatch to bring it in line with the body color…
Just can’t keep well enough alone . . .
Had the Stroppe 5 weeks now - - the rear hatch and cover weren’t even on “the list” of mods I had planned…. Slippery slope, indeed.

“Like New” Ford block letter tire cover, came as OEM gear on my recently acquired Stroppe Edition. Wheel size 315/70/17; no signs of external wear, slight interior bottom staining from time on the Bronco while at the dealer’s lot.
Interior stain:

A quality shop painted the rear hatch for 1/3 the price of STEK PPF - - and that PPF estimate didn't include the hood, roof, or rear hatch. Still have PPF on the list, but that is a pricey upgrade.
Not a mud-flap guy, but I'm sure the "Search" function will provide what you need - - ideally...
Congrats! Recently acquired a Stroppe as well - - also coming from four-wheeling an older rig, and the technology is impressive.
Too many vendors/options/farkles/etc. for these rigs - - plenty of plans but taking my time for the upgrades.
Did execute this upgrade already - - not to...
That was us - - I strapped my buddy (and his G6 2 door Badlands/Squatch [no portals]lol) off a rock where you guys were parked….
Since I didn’t bring the brand new Stroppe on this run, said buddy wouldn’t show me the secret Bronco handshakes/ bona fides so we could stop and shoot the breeze. ...
Funniest thread I’ve seen in a while. . . Didn’t know WTF a “portal” was until picking up the Stroppe a few weeks ago….
Think we saw you guys last week between Arnold’s Rock and Buck Island Lake - - I was piloting a 1st Gen Explorer Sport on portals…, er, nope: a Dana 35 TTB.

First post - - 1st Gen Explorer Sport prepped for the Rubicon (currently sitting at Rubicon Springs [thanks Elon for the WiFi…]), with newly acquired 2025 Stroppe.
Coming down Big Sluice.
Lots of upgrade plans for the Stroppe, but still too new and nice for this trail…
