This is the one I have. It has a bar that crosses under the grab handle to connect both sides. I had the sides powder coated black textured with the cross bar powder coated race red to match my heritage limited red accents in the interior...
See I don't get how you folks complain about the road noise. What are you expecting, dead silence? If that's the case, go buy an explorer and get the tremor package if you want to look the part of off-road. I have a 2 door with a hard top on the rear and a beststop half convertible on the front...
I'm still not a fan of maxl. I think it's no different than any other spray on detailer. Yeah, it looks good and seems clean and whatnot, but any water on it and you need to reapply. Where a wax once or twice a month does so much better and looks better IMHO. This stuff is snake oil to me.
Fine? You mean works ok. As long as you aren't off roading the truck and getting actual articulation going. Lots of missing fender flares and inner fender liners with this change and no lift. But it does work, as you say.
As far as the other changes, just need to change the tire diameter in...
As a shorter man of 5'7" I noticed the visor issue immediately. I took a whole different approach to the visor concern and just tinted the front window the whole way down. Illegal as hell, but problem solved! Lol.
But in reality, you could just get a limo tinted eyebrow piece for your front...
See thing is I also built my setup to have a hidden winch like this. My bumper doesn't even have the ability to add a winch on it! I just hope they come out with something soon. Or someone else comes out with something similar. I have zero ability to do that kinda fab work in my garage sadly.
Ha!! I literally just went there now myself to order the setup because I finally found a bumper I want to use. Then came here through Google searches to ask the same thing. Lol. My hope is that the mount also works with the CVF high mount setup since that's the intercooler I have.
Oh wait, you're talking about the kit that mounts it onto the spare tire lug nuts? Yeah, no. I like to run no spare a lot of times when out wheeling so adding the extra time to unbolt and rebolt is for the birds. I like permanent and stable.
It's not the kit that's holding me back. I bought the light with the bracket. Just my supports off the spare tire mount were kinda powdercoated pretty shitty like. They are chase light mounts. I have since tossed the shitty plastic Ford mount. But to make the bracket on the DD light fit, I have...
