I've been using the Versahaul VH-55 after reading other threads in this forum. I have used it for probably at least 6 trips for anywhere between 1-4 hours from home. It lightens the front end of the truck so steering feels a little different but hasn't been a problem. I was worried I would...
The retro looks, the highway drivability, the off roading and snow capability and taking the top/doors off in the summer. Oh, and the turning radius, too, which is good in the city.
It seems like it's R1/R2 restrictions most of the time for me in Tahoe. CHP looks at either our Bronco or Focus, both with M+S's, and just waves us through. They've never asked to look to see if we have chains. It's going to be the Tesla or Prius with all season tires that sneaks through the...
Yeah, it blocks probably a 1/3 of the front camera. I live and park in a major city, so it does make a difference, but a) I really like the lights and b) I still have the beep beep parking sensor.
I installed my @Baja Designs LP'6s today. I was a little worried not knowing a lot about the electrical stuff, but the harness and Swarfworks mount from 4x4TruckLEDs made it super easy. Super happy with how it turned out.
We got the CG. First choice was orange, but didnāt have it on ā23 models. Didnāt think CG was a fun color but after swapping the stock wheels, I really love it
My BAD SAS does this same exact thing and I had wondered if I should take it in to have looked at. I notice the choppiness when city driving with lots of stop signs. It definitely feels like it loses a split second of fuel delivery when it goes from gears 1 to 2 to 3. I do a more light...
Same thing happened to me on the way up to the mountains to ski. Didnāt seem like a rock strike, just a crack that got bigger while driving. Farmers insurance charged $100 to replace.
Even my Ford dealer steered me away from the OEM roof rack. I went with TrailRax on my 2 door and super happy with it. I took out 3 of the 7 cross bars to fit my Thule box and it feels super stable and fits 4 pairs of skis and 2 pairs of boots. We've done 3 four hour trips to Tahoe. We did...
