Awesome trip! We did the same itinerary but we did it in 2 trips - last year to Yellowstone and Grand Tetons and the year before to South Dakota. I was very impressed with Custer State Park. Anyway, we had a great time and sounds like you did too!
Sounds like fun! I've taken my 76 Bronco on the Rubicon but not sure I would take my stock Stroppe on it. That said, it's an awesome trail that I'd love to do again.
You must have had a better one than the one I had. In the 2 1/2 years I had the '22 I replaced the windshield twice. Maybe I'll notice a difference in bugs without the deflector this summer?? I still will not be putting one on the wrapped hood of my Stroppe.
We just got back from a week long Rhine River cruise From Amsterdam to Basel Switzerland. Didn't see one Bronco! I kept looking on every shore excursion. I did see a couple Ranger pick ups and, surprisingly, a Ram TRX truck! Anyway, it's awesome a Bronco is at home in the Alps!
For friends who describe their potential use similar to the OP's use, I recommend the Badlands non-Sasquatch. Those who have followed my advice seem to be very happy with the choice.

My experience is that it DID damage the paint. I bought my Bronco used and the PO installed a carbon fiber look protector/deflector. The carbon fiber got weathered and I pulled it off very carefully. This is the result!
