You are right... it is probably closer to 50 years apart. They worked the mine 1950-1971. His pic was probably taken 1969-1970ish...

The national forest access road takes a turn at the location I took my photo. The old cabin was a little deeper in to that valley. I didn’t want to disturb the area searching for it.

Unfortunately the old structures are gone. That made it a little difficult to find the exact spot.

I just installed the Kooks high clearance exhaust. I didn't want anything too loud. This exhaust is perfect for me. Has a nice low rumble to it.

Father and sons broncos 60 years apart. Dad was on the way to the family mine in Silverton Colorado one cold morning. I tried to get the similar picture... I didn't have the snow or the perfect camera angel but it was fun trying to replicate it.

I've used the feature many times over the years with my F150 and will do it with my bronco. It isn't for everyone! If you are not comfortable doing it, then don't. I use it in some low risk situations. It really comes in handy more than you would think.

I picked up my Bronco on Saturday. This thing is a best. It is very much worth the wait. I love it. I haven't seen any others in Tulsa yet. It's funny that most people don't seem to know what it is. It gets lots of looks and even some people taking pictures when it is in the parking lot...
