Unfortunately the stock skids are the same thickness of a dirt bike skid and are almost worthless. Mine lasted 6 months of wheeling. Since then I've ran m.o.r.e. skids that were 3/16ths steel and turtled on a boulder and bent up the tranfercase skid past reusability. Next Venture 7075 smooth...

Why install an anchor ? I can't keep a front lisence plate bracket on, and drag my rear recovery hook on everything. My rear liscence plate holder is secured with a self tapping screw.
