  1. I know I will get hate but I am loading a tent on this...

Not hating, just stating facts. Wind, bumpy roads, etc. will push all well built roof racks to the limit. Tents are bricks mounted to your roof. They require the proper gear to keep them from breaking something. Cry now (pay for the proper gear) Smile later (didn't break anything or kill someone...
  2. 2 door Badlands 2.7 towing pontoon…

What does it weigh? It looks like it should be able to handle that. If it sways, get a light weight sway bar/weight distribution hitch. That should help a lot. Nice Bronco.
  3. Admit it, your rig is a "mall crawler"...

I park mine by the food court.
  4. The Cheapest 2025 Ford Bronco Two-Door V6 Is Now $78,000

I will take my "Toy Size" 2 door all day.
  5. Gun Mount [LOCKED DUE TO POLITICS]

I like that one better. M2 is a beast
  6. Gun Mount [LOCKED DUE TO POLITICS]

Me as well. I have some scrap metal in my shed that can easily become a mount like that one.
  7. Gun Mount [LOCKED DUE TO POLITICS]

I picked up a 365 SAS with the recessed sights a while back when the gun stores were empty . It is a great handgun, but the sights are terrible. It would be good in a 5 meter engagement or less in day light. I stuck a laser on it for low light. I just picked up a S&W Performance a month ago and...
  8. Gun Mount [LOCKED DUE TO POLITICS]

I have an old alien gear OWB for my full size M&P. :unsure:It sucks on the belt. I may try to mount it in the Bronco.
  9. Gun Mount [LOCKED DUE TO POLITICS]

Don't drop it. Sorry couldn't resist. I am a S&W guy. I do have a 365 SAS though. It is one of my back ups.
  10. Marsh Gray

We just saw one this weekend at our dealership with the painted roof. I think it will be very popular. I like it a lot. It was a BadSquatch with the Everglade wheels. Not a big fan of the new RT Goodyear tires though. I would be replacing those. If Ford would give me a decent offer for my 22...
  11. Overlanding is Dead! Is it? Finally!!

Agreed. I always get back home and realize that I didn't take enough pictures of what we did. I am having so much fun that I forget about the camera. This forum is about all of the social media that I post on. I don't do IG.
  12. Overlanding is Dead! Is it? Finally!!

My take on having too much gear or not needing an RTT: I went in the Army in 1987 and initially I was riding an M60 Tank (Vietnam Era tank) GD engineered a new tank. It was more comfortable, reliable, survivable, etc. We embraced the newer tech that made our lives better. We didn't stick with...
  13. Overlanding is Dead! Is it? Finally!!

I throw an E-Tool in the back. It works great and it is cheap.
  14. Overlanding is Dead! Is it? Finally!!

I don't call what we do "overlanding". I don't live in Australia or Africa. I call it...get ready... "camping" or "backwoods camping". We love going to the woods and rivers. The rooftop tent just keeps us dry and off of the ground when it is bed time. I lived on a tank for 15 years, so I will...
