  1. TackForm 25w wireless charger and higher wattage USB-C installation

it’s frustrating for sure. I spoke with them at Overland Expo West and asked them to design a turn key kit which could include the socket and wiring. Let me know if you need info on what I used. I essentially got the socket and fuse stuff on amazon.
  2. TackForm 25w wireless charger and higher wattage USB-C installation

I just installed a TackForm 25w wireless charger and 100w USB-C socket. Thought I'd share my installation. I have a '26 Bronco without the wireless charger. I hoped that wires to hook up the wireless charger was still present. They are not. I then thought about using the existing wiring...
  3. Help finding ACC switched power in the dash

I found all the spare ones at the top were constant power. Fuse #35 is the bottom left.
  4. Help finding ACC switched power in the dash

Correct. Pull the panel from the top right below the steering column. The bottom of the panel is hinged. Fuse #35 is switched. So no power when car is off and powered when car on. The rest of the spares I checked were all powered.
  5. Fake engine sound disable

So I got more time with the ESE turned off. It may be just me, but it seems that I now hear more bass than previous. It’s both more robust and goes lower in frequency. One other question. Did you turn off ANC in the DSP module? DSP 783-01-01, *xxx-xxxx-xxxx Enable (D) Disable (C) ANC (Active...
  6. Help finding ACC switched power in the dash

Ok. I think I have a solution. The BCM fuse box fuse #35 is a switched power fuse. I didn’t test all of them but most in the BCM fuse box are constant on. Fuse #35 is a spare. I’ll just use a micro fuse tap and pull off that one. Hope that helps anyone looking for switched power.
  7. Help finding ACC switched power in the dash

Need help finding ACC switched power in the dash. I’m trying to install a stronger USB-C in the upper dash panel but can’t find a good place to tap switched power. I was hoping to use the existing USB socket wiring as it’s a 12v source (confirmed with voltage meter) but the wires to the socket...
  8. Temp and pressure numbers under gauges with Forscan

I have a ā€˜26 Bronco Raptor and tried programming numbers under the various oil and transmission temperature gauges with Forscan in the IPC module 720-07-01, xxxx xx54 xxxx, which did not work and tried xxxx x65x xxxx, which also did not work. Anyone successfully get numbers to appear below their...
  9. Fake engine sound disable

ok. Good to know. I’ll try it in the different modes.
  10. Fake engine sound disable

I'm curious about this as well. I have a '26 and just turned it off. That said, I don't think it had it to begin with. I haven't driven it since the change. But will report back when I do.
  11. Trash bag over spare tire. Any issues with scratching camera lens?

For those that run a trash bag over the rear tire, have you had any issues with scratching the backup camera lens? I don’t plan on leaving the bag on. Only when going camping/off-roading. also, for anyone whose had issues with getting the bag to fit around their tire, I went through the wheel...
  12. What roof rack for painted top?

Before the cargo boxes, how was the wind noise since it doesn’t have a wind foil?
  13. My cargo platform solution build for overlanding (custom DIY)

Ok measured. The max length from tailgate to passenger seat moved forward and tilted forward is 6' 8" The unsupported gap that you would need to make a platform is about 15". That said, you probably wouldn't need to fill the whole gap as the pad would do some supporting.
  14. My cargo platform solution build for overlanding (custom DIY)

Oh that would be tight. I'm 5' 8" so not an issue. The Big Agnes air pad is 72". I haven't tried moving the seat all the way forward as well as tilting it forward. I'm almost positive that it would be more than 74" though. But there would be a small amount that would be unsupported so you...
  15. My cargo platform solution build for overlanding (custom DIY)

The total added weight with just the platform, rails, slides, tray, carpet is around 35lbs. The heaviest items are the stainless slides. Everything else is aluminum, carpet, or wood. The aluminum angle and rectangle is probably 8lbs. The wood is birch 1/2" ply. I'll measure it after the...
