@derichio02 To maximize the sound for the rear pods, we suggest you use FORScan to really open up the speakers. The stock setting for the rear pods is set at Tweeter so the power to the pods is low.
Installation is easier with the top off but it is doable with it on. I used an angle driver to get the screws in and out but an Allen wrench will also work.

The factory sub will not get disabled so yes they will run concurrently. The factory sub is pretty weak so if youre looking to add more bass to your system this will be the fix.
