Just keep in mind that aftermarket wheels and tires alone are around $2500+. So if you're getting the BL and changing to 35" right away, add that to your cost.
Regarding color, maybe find a BL in the color you want.
For the tops, I'd get a painted top to avoid the MIC top issues, or get a soft...
23psi is way too low. You're going to get uneven tire wear. That doesn't sound like it's the problem.
If using the OEM tires, you should be close to what it says on the door sticker. I have OEM SAS tires and the sticker says 39psi. I have them around 37, which is close. 23 would be closer to...
Ok, makes sense. I pulled it up on the Ford site and you appear to be correct. Looks like BL and Stroppe (25) are the only ones that come up when I select 2 door and Lux. Definitely lots of limitations for the 2 door.
I wouldn't color match your sliders, unless it's black. If you actually use your sliders, they are going to get scratched and need to be touched up often. So I always go with black so it's easy to touch up.
20% black is what I would use for powder coat. Then you can touch it up with Rustoleum.
I tried the Forscan settings to disable it. That doesn't appear to work. I've just gotten in the habit of hitting the button every time I start it. I refuse to pay for a plug in that disables it every time.
The EPA will keep up with adding nonsense to vehicles. In my '04 Jeep Wrangler, it has...
Yup, anything with Lux is going to have adaptive cruise. 360 cameras are also part of Lux.
Seat heaters is part of the mid package. I believe every Outer Banks (OBX) and Badlands have it. Optional on Big Bend and Base.
I do like using Crutchfield. Easy returns and good support. The 60 day return policy is nice too. With my last DD, I returned one set of speaker very close to 60 days. They will also price match their own sale prices. So have gotten money back when something went on sale after I bought it...
I dealt with that with my Jeep. It cleared with barely an inch of space. I needed more clearance for 37's, so went with hi line flares because I didn't want to go any higher.
Hood struts are a good thing to have. Especially if you're opening your hood often, to air up, etc. My last DD had them (Ram 1500). When I saw my Bronco didn't, made me shake my head. I might have to add those too.
Are we supposed to get rewards points for buying a Bronco? I though my salesman...
No amp required, many have done just the speakers.
I have the base 7 system. I did the Audison 4" and ran that way with no amp for about a month. There's a guy on Youtube that replaced his speakers with $35 / pair and they sounded significantly better.
I was also hoping that 'premium' sound...
Best sound from a thumb drive with flac files. Not MP3 or any other format (unless it's lossless). It doesn't sound like that's your problem though. There's really no way to make the OEM system sound good without replacing everything.
For that price range, I would do the Hertz DCX 100.3. Many here have put them in and they fit.
In the front, you have to remove a little plastic tab. It takes 5 seconds with snips.
