I am looking to do the same, but did you hook up the rear cam to the reverse light power line, or is there no reason to do that? If you did, where did you tap into it?
You should have a noticeably better sound by using a USB drive vs Spotify. The thing to be careful of is the type of media you are using. I had an older 400GB sd card that worked fine in my lossless portable player, but when i tried it in the Bronco, it would get about a minute into a song...
Cool, and if you find yourself in Central or Northern NJ I would love to hear it with the 500.1 to see if that makes a huge difference, and to check out the BRaptor.
Plus I owe you some beers for hooking up the Brewster deal....
I am just using the stock B&O amp, with the stock subwoofer. I did add poly and kilmat to the sub enclosure, but never did the amp upgrade. I do think its a good middle-ground without doing the amp, so its worth a shot to see if you like it imho.
i have a pair of the Memphis MJP6's in there. I think it sounds good and definitely adds to the midrange. I have the B&O package, so I didn't do any bass blockers for the dash speakers, and I like it. I didn't bother upgrading my sub, so I think this keeps me happy enough that I don't feel I...
Thanks! That image helped a lot, and I did need the screwdriver on the passenger side, once I used that it popped right off. The driver side was a bit easier to get behind as it has a greater range of motion.
Looking forward to checking them out in the daytime tomorrow.
Got mine today and started on the passenger side, but was struggling with removing the oem mirror. I saw in the video that it seemed like you have to get your fingers behind the glass and pull the clips to release them while you pull out the mirror?
I can't really get my fingers behind it...
I know its not a popular approach, but I put a pair of Memphis MJP6 woofers in the kick panels and think they sound great. Gives some extra bass without sacrificing much because you wont get much high end down there anyway...
The day I went to the pine barrens I had dropped my daughter off at Great Adventure with her friends for the day, so I went south from there. But then when I was picking her up, one of the security guards there saw my bronco and told me to head out behind the park and there are some trails they...
Curious about which part of the trail you did? Looks like you went over Hawkins bridge for one shot? A few months ago I started out at Batsto village, and then heading into the Wharton State forest from there, probably along a similar route. A lot of places to go once you are inside there...
