streaming music with pandora/alexa streaming on high quality doesn’t use much data.
i say that because i use the Bronco ATT with unlimited data….. and i stream pandora through it. With my iPad…. About 96 hours per month, And according to my data usage from ATT for my bronco. I am barely using...
I have done thousands of surveys so I get your point how horrible so,e surveys are, and how intrusive They can get.
that being said. I get some people don’t need or don’t want our car to be a hotspot or have any form of connectivity, other than doing software Updates.
some can’t even use it...
the Bronco CAN update over the cellular network, however it won’t till you click on a screen when it asks you. It knows. But will prefer to connect via WiFi if possible.
I haven’t had a chance to do some testing. But I do believe the bronco using the wifi connection it makes for more then just...
Are you using the usb connections on the top next to the windshield, or the ones down below above the wireless charger in the center console?
yes my phone is mounted on the dash, using the dash screw mount using a ram mount ball. So pulling a cord up from the center console gets in the way of...
I just had another thought there is a device that uses 4g, and then connected to WiFi. To use in areas with no cell service to produce a mini cell site.
connect that device to starlink and connect phone and bronco at&t to that device lol
oh I get that, and that sounds logical, as the phone can only connect to one WiFi device at a time.
however can you try this…. Connect your BRONCO to the starlink. Then connect your phone to your bronco and enable CarPlay. Turn off the cellular connection in your phone. I assume that you have...
Well at this point you have too if you want to use the built in Alexa features and streaming.
however, if connecting the bronco to starlink allows Alexa to work with no cell connection. Then I will consider turning off the bronco AT&T.
however the bronco AT&T only costs me $10 a month. And...
Yes, my bronco will connect to my home WiFi, and do the software updates. When AT&T service went down in my area for a few hours, my bronco was able to connect to my home WiFi in my driveway, and do a software update.
I wished I had checked to see if I could still do Alexa streaming while...
I thought about that, but the usbc connection on the dash next to the windshield won’t give you CarPlay action. You have to plug in down below on the center console. It creates a safety issue running the cable back up to the dash
2023 Bronco Badlands with SAS, and luxury package 2.7.
currently in my bronco, with. iPhone and iPad. iPhone 15 uses WiFi, and connects to bronco, for CarPlay. My iPad with NO cell service connects with the Bronco WiFi. I pay for the AT&T internet access with my vehicle. so now my iPad has...
Get them combined….

get them with the skid plates… and they are steps and rock sliders combined… have them on my bronco and love them!

I use a smalll solar panel that Keeps mine trickled charged. I have a 2023 with all the options. I have lots of extras added to Mine so the battery saver mode comes on mine about every other day if I don’t drive it.
the solar battery maintainer does a great job except when their is several days...
I have found a company that will build us a 350+amp alternator for the 2.7 engines in our broncos. Cost will be around $500 before core rebate and will have a 5 year warranty?
the only thing they need to build one is an order for at least 100 units.
would you want one?
