The current 3.0 doesn’t, you’re correct. The new 3.0 in the F-150 is not that motor. It has port and direct injection. It’s a stepped up 2.7. The Raptor motor isn’t what is going in the F-150 at all.

The 2.3L's have an external transmission fluid heat exchanger it's just mounted to the transmission directly instead of on the front cross member. You would have to get creative in keeping the factory heat exchanger because of that since the fluid passes directly from the transmission into it...

The width difference is real once you convert. I did the same thing and ended up selling the Raptor. Don’t get me wrong I liked it a lot but there just really wasn’t enough to justify it versus my Badlands. Parking isn’t that bad it just overall feels so large. It’s a cushy daily driver though...
