I'm not a fan of the soft top, but my biggest complaint about it (other than the water coming in every time I roll down the windows lol) is the plastic windows, I managed one winter without scratching the rear one, now it's useless for seeing through.
I'm on my 5th winter with my Bronco and chances are it gets colder here in New Brunswick, Canada (next door to Maine) than it ever gets in TN. My Bronco doesn't even sleep in a garage and outside of the scratches I detest, my soft top windows haven't split like that.
I read an article today that someone started selling recall badges for Jeep 4xe owners and they love it, so clearly Stelantis owners aren't right in the head.
I never had any issues with my OEM KO2's in heavy rain, or even snow, but I've seen lots of people complaining about them. Could have been something on the road combined with the water that made that particular spot extra slippery.
I wonder if that has something to do with the number of jeeps sold vs broncos  🤷♂️
Besides that, choosing to thrash your property is your choice and your right.
Even lightly touching something that isn't yours to touch is wrong, IMO.
When I can see that the major components are all identical? I'd say that's at the very most comparing bud to bud light.
