I ordered my 21 Badlands SAS in February. Took delivery December 27th. Headed to the Florida keys that week. Learned about dropping the door during reinstall. Going to repair it and do rhino liner on the bottom 3” so I don’t have to respray the whole door. Also learned about the mudflap issue with rockrails. I decided to go the cheap easy route until someone makes a true bolt on. Ignore the zinc panhead screws. I will swap them later.

Great, thanks for the info, I have the same build, just a 4 door. I am wanting to add those redline hood lifts also. Have fun in the Keys!

Man, I just may pick up a set of the Ford front flaps and then put a set of those on the rear of my BD. Looks just fine to me.

Thanks. I did the rear because of the dirty rear bumper caused by the gap between the bumper and wheel well.

I ordered the Gatorbacks without the Bronco logos from sharptruck.com, cheaper and I really didn't like the branding on them, no need to draw attention to mud flaps. Hope to install them this weekend. But I might get some cheap ones for the back, not sure yet. But I hate the rooster tail of mud and dirt up the side doors, door handles and rear fender flares, and the ding ding ding of rocks hitting everywhere.
Gatorback is still expensive, but I got tired of waiting for other makers and I like that you can take the lower part off really easy when on rocky trails. Cheaper than PPF which I'd not trust against rocks anyway, and certainly cheaper than painting the doors again.

What type of screws did you use to secure the flaps?

I just used some Panhead zinc screws that I had. I’m going to swap them out for some black OEM style screws with some type of flange on them but I have to run to the auto parts store to see what they have.

@Fencelizard is there any way you would be willing to take a picture of how you secured the front ones on the inside of the wheel well?

Yes. I thought I included this one. I have to make one spacer and add another screw. I was able to use one of the wheel well fasteners. The upper one is a ford style push plug with a temporary zinc panhead screw over it. The upper one is screwed into the horizontal round molded section of the inner fender flare. I was able to use a 90* drill bit attachment in my cordless drill to do all flares without tire removal. Just turn the front tires for some of them.

I was able to get out to advance auto and pick up some assorted black trim screws to make it a little bit nicer.
