I placed an order for an A51 just shy of two weeks ago, but I saw two CO in person today and all these pics in this thread make me want to change my order. Is the paint tri-coat for Hot Pepper and CO the same paint protection that keeps showing up on the "things that will delay your Bronco" list?

That might be a dumb question but I can't seem to find an answer searching for it.

No, they just require more time and material to produce the desired paint job. You pay for the extra steps in the process with the up charge premium. Paint protection is a tiny film applied to sensitive areas on the front of the Bronco. Any reputable detail shop should be able to replicate the paint protection. If you baller status you can have the whole thing wrapped.

CO is really beautiful. It appears golden at certain angles when in direct sunlight. I also love the color in overcast conditions because it looks different.

No…, the paint protection holding up orders is a Paint Protection Film (PPF), like a wrap. Cyber Orange is a three layer paint (tri-coat). At least that’s how the tri-coat was explained to me.

No, the paint protection - available for any color - is actually a film that is installed over parts of the vehicle. Most after market applications are done as a full' wrap' on the vehicle.

Road trip to Cali. Those stupid G-wagens are a dime a dozen out there. I saw way more of those on the road than Broncos. We saw 6 new Broncos on the entire trip, and a couple of EB’s…
