Could you tell me more about your homegrown solution for the drawer top? Perhaps a bit more detail on wood cuts, carpeting added on top, etc.?

Finished up some mods today and enjoyed our first time with the top down.

Quick update on a few things over the last week or so.

Got a flag mount for the front trail sights from www.broncograveyard.com
Installed the @IAG Performance soft top struts (must have for any soft top owner IMO)
Installed a Fire extinguisher that I had in my old 4Runner using high strength velco straps.

Got the Midlands USA MXT275 GMRS radio installed. YouTube video coming shortly, so please like and subscribe to the channel and sign up for the alert button so you'll know when the new content drops. This radio is the same one I got out of my 4Runner. I ran the antenna cable through the firewall and inside the center console. This required drill a small hole (3/8") to run the cable into the small console storage compartment. power is through the stock 12V plug inside the compartment. the mic is mounted using a Scoche Magnetic dash phone kit from Best Buy.

Once I get a couple items from Amazon, I will be finishing up the Weboost cell booster as well.

Installed the old WeBoost cell booster I had in my previous 4Runner. Mounted under the driver’s seat. External (ghost) antenna mounted on the cowl mount and internal antenna mounted on the side of the center console near the HVAC controls.

Fuel Zephyr in matte bronze. 17x9 with -12 offset. Left the 0.75” spacers on to see what it did. Most likely will be taking them off though.

Gave the rear bumper and tailgate more breathing room today. Rough Country spare tire relocation and tailgate reinforcement kits.

No, and TBH, if youre running a 37” tire (and maybe 35s), you don’t have room to go down without hitting the bumper.

The only rubbing concerns with the OEMs was with the Zone UCAs. That was resolved by adding the 0.75" Bora Wheel spacers. That basically took the OEM offset of +30 and made it +16. These wheels have an Offset of -12mm which pushes the wheels farther away from the vehicle, which improves clearance even more. I think +1 to -12 offset is ideal with a 17x9 wheel when lifted.

Stock wheels, and UCA with an RPG level and 37s. Slight rub @ full lock. Will be adding THe 3/4” spacer as @Bird Dog Overland has suggested. Can’t decide on a wheel set….

That's my color, roof, 4dr so I will be curious as to your wheel choice. I'm choosing Black Rhino Abram. What UCA did you go with?
