Carbonized Gray Paint Thread

Im set on a Carbonized gray black diamond. but I really don't want a carbonized gray modular hard top. The carbonized gray wth the black steelies, the black fenders, the black door handles, I needs a Black hard top. lol

100% agree / almost makes me consider iconic silver to get some contrast with the grey hard top rather than drop more cash for black...

That's close to it..but it's not base. Grill and lights looks like BD

I think it will be close. Chrysler/Jeep/Ram has a steel metallic that I figure will be real close... wife has a renegade in it - looks good - she suggested the carbon grey for bronco ---

Looks like a matte black truck, which actually looks pretty sharp. I think Carbonized will look more silver-ish. Also, that not the grill of a BD. BD shares a grill with the base. That might be a BB.

This is a great thread to get thoughts on the Carbonized Grey color. I've been doing all I can to get off the grey palette; trying to sell myself on Cactus, Area 51, Antimatter, but carbonized grey always catches my eye. Think I'm locked in to a CG 2DR Big Bend. I'd prefer a black top vice grey though. Everyone has their own opinion for sure (a white top is an absolute no-go for me but many in the forum clamor for it), but a Carbonized Grey Bronco with black top is a winner. Looks like our Broncos will be a bit more unique as compared to all the Cactus Grey and Area 51 rigs.

im really thinking if you look at iconic silver on interactive garage it looks really more comparable to CG in reality vs silver. The CG on the garage is extremely dark; and not far off from black. Shadow black or CG are my choices for sure. But I do want contrast to the top like most others. I may stick with CG and the black soft top since I’m getting a 4 door. Or black with the gray modular top. I don’t know.

I surely love it, torn between it and Area 51 and the Cactus....but I'm coming off a black truck, which I never want again....and the carbonized looks sooo dark, wondering how it shows dirt? You only have a clean black truck for about 10 min.

I agree after seeing the truck videos above.....just gray and kind of bland. This was my top color choice now I need to rethink it.

agreed, it doesn't pop enough. I was hoping it was carbonized grey metallic which is much less bland. after seeing these videos im switching to race red.
