Amazing trip. I did SF to San Diego. The redwood forest was a highlight.
Love the SWB 911 encounter too.

Off topic. Are you using Lightroom for post processing in that lead image? Other software? Templates?
Most of the photos I posted were shot RAW on a Nikon Z6 then processed with Lightroom. The ones shot with my phone are untouched.

Bucket list item for me for sure
Do it! Its one of the most amazing drives in the world especially when the weather is cooperating. Often this time of year its rain with a ton of fog. We got 5 glorious days of sun.

This part was particularly ridiculous. High elevation and lots of crazy twisty windy switch backs. Soooo good!

Finally got my Bronco 2-1/2 years after ordering it, definitely worth the wait!
Took it on a rather epic road trip down the coast just two weeks after taking delivery. :)

Here's a few more boring ones that dont feature a certain badass Ford Bronco but thought I'd share some other vistas along the way.

At different points in my life I've done that drive from the Bay Area as far south as OC, and as far north as Victoria, but never in one trip. Impressive.

Gorgeous!!!!
I drove the Columbia River Gorge then down the coast to San Francisco (South Bay) in my Subie. The views can't be beat. I've done the coast down to San Diego as well, but not on the same trip.

Okay, I have to ask, where were the zebras? We did this trip many years ago, took the long way home from SD through MT, ID, and OR to Northridge, CA. Best part was the coast, but no zebras!! Thanks for posting the beautiful pics.
