I would not remove the crash bars. The government has a federal agency that’s called T.A.G. A lot of times if you piss off the service department, they will report you to TAG. TAG is the same department that will arrest people for removing their mattress tag. That would suck to be in prison and your bunk mate ask’s you what you got arrested for and you gotta be honest and tell them you got arrested for removing your mattress tag. If you remove your crash bars, it’s the same thing. T.A.G. If notified by the service department that you removed your crash bars will come and arrest you. Don’t do the crime if you cannot do the time…….
