A deep mud crossing took out the alternators of Four of our Blue Ridge Broncos members at Wind Rock in East TN. They decided that they would just have a spare on hand when they go mudding.
Do they carry as many spares as puddles they plan on splashing through?

It seems Inaccurate alternator and snorkel lore will never end no matter how many times it’s discussed.

Has anyone done this yet? What is the best wiring design? How long can the system run on just battery?yes agreed, but I’m strictly talking about water crossing with fairly clean water.
