I don't mind creaks and pops and odd noises from my Bronco... it's a Bronco, not a Lexus.
But I developed an odd noise that became louder and louder over a short period of time. It sounded like a rubbing noise in the back of the Bronco. It was most prevalent at low speeds when I first start driving it... it seems to be dependent on body flex.
I opened the rear swing gate and lifted the rear glass, then went for a test drive... the noise went away.....!!!!!!!
SOLUTION
If you have this same issue, here is a fix.
I used AERO COSMETICS RUBBER CARE on the following surfaces:
I applied it on the following surfaces:
I also coated the inside of the swing-gate:
Fixed...!!!!!!!!
I just bought a Ranger Raptor, and it is whisper quiet, and the wife said it spoiled me due to the complete lack of noise.
Naaaaahhhhhh.... I can deal with the Bronco noises, it's a Bronco for God's sake, who could complain?
