Trail Sight Lights compatible with 2026 Ford Badlands?

I purchased a set of these Trail Sight Lights from an Amazon vendor which stated compatibility with the 2026 Ford Bronco. However, the provided wiring T-harness connections do not match the factory plugs on my 2026 Bronco 4-Door Badlands trim with signature LED lighting. Had to send these back. Please see attached images.

That wiring mismatch is a frustrating roadblock, especially when a listing explicitly guarantees compatibility with a 2026 model.

The issue stems from a hidden hardware change. While these vendors advertise that these trail sight lights as fitting the 2021 through 2026 models, Ford updated the headlight wiring harness connector design for the 2026 model years. The Badlands trim, which features the higher-end signature LED lighting, utilizes a plug configuration that completely differs from the 2026 connectors that were provided have a standard, out-of-the-box T-harness adapter was built to splice into.

I do know that I could leverage our Factory Aux Switches for connectivity Instead of using the proprietary T-harness adapter at the headlight housing, and I can bypass it entirely. Snip the vehicle-side plug off the vendors harness, expose the hot and ground wires, and connect them directly to one of our pre-run AUX switch wires located near the firewall/battery area. This would give you total manual control over when the trail sights are illuminated. I do not want to go this route.

You sure that's not the main harness on the driver side? That's a LOT Of wires going into the back of a headlight... You can't really access the headlight harness without removing the headlight.

I'm not aware of Ford changing their headlight harness. Makes no sense to, as it would cost them more money

Did you unplug the harness on the back of your headlight OR did you get your harness from another source in the vehicle...

Solved!

Huge shoutout to 4x4TruckLeds.com for steering me in the right direction.

The two harness adapters provided by Mabett did indeed connect directly to the plugs on the back of the headlights. To make things easier, I went ahead and removed the front grille and headlights. I’m definitely glad I did, as it gave me a much better view and made routing and securing all the cabling and wiring a breeze.

The only downside I found was that the thin red power/fuse wires came completely unprotected. To fix this, I wrapped all the wiring in split-braided sleeving. Because of its lateral split, it snaps right around the wires automatically—making it incredibly easy to install or modify later without disconnecting any terminals. Plus, it looks just like a premium factory loom and won't trap moisture like traditional plastic tubing.
