I’m looking at a Bronco raptor that has everything but the leather seats in it. Wondering if anyone has went with katskin leather seat covers and if your happy with them?
I have Katskins on my current ride and had them on my Ranger before I sold it. The material and construction is very good and I had no issues with wear problems.
I can tell you the installer will make all the difference in how they turn out. They need to be heated up and stretched tight when applied or you end up with wrinkles like I have on my Bronco seats but had none of on the Ranger. Ask them about their process and if they don't mention warming up the leather and stretching I'd look for someone else.
The 2024 I recently purchased did not have leather seats and came with Katskins. They fit like a glove, the quality is exceptional, and I am very happy with them.
@Raceguy388 good question and @TemplarAZ thanks for responding with a pic. Your seat covers look awesome!. I just order a 2026 Raptor and I'm considering going with Katzkin Seat covers as well.
Take a closer look at the side bolsters poor fit ....looks bubbled. To solve the pattern / sewing defect the installer needs to glue / add additional foam on the bolster areas and any other baggy areas.
After spending big$ on Raptor just get custom made for double the price and get 4 times better quality and fit.
I will never order Katzkins again even though they were also the contracted installer through a sub they bent over backwards to make poor fabrication fit right but it wasted a lot of my time with multiple visits over 90 days.
Could have easily paid for custom with the time it wasted, and aggravation.
