Hey there everyone. Just recently traded in my 2023 Cactus Grey non-SAS Black Diamond for a 2024 Velocity Blue Braptor and I’m in love with the color AND the performance of this thing. Always been a blue car guy, and as much as I loved the Cactus Grey, I wanted a lift, tires size increase, and wider stance… the blue with the matched wide fenders was too hard to resist.

First order of business is likely removing the decals and then full PPF and ceramic. Afterwards, perhaps a FP tune and aftermarket bronze or black wheels.

Your Raptor is gorgeous, the only replacement for my '21 Bronco would be a VB Raptor with paint matched roof and flares. Wishing you all the best with the new one!

Not sure if I'm the first with a factory top painted in body color...although admittedly, I think white would have been good up there.

I was torn between paint matched roof, black painted roof or the standard hard top roof. Didn’t want to worry about having to PPF wrap a black top to prevent swirl marks, but wanted to have some contrast to the VB on the roof, so here I am. The paint matched fenders were what sold me on the Braptor… not as big of a fan of the VB on the Braptor with unpainted fenders… it looks amazing still, just not my style.

I leaned into and am very much enjoying the black and blue contrast. Purely aesthetic, get what makes you happy! As for swirls, I knew she'd be in the woods. I knew I'd be patching scratches. They become memories of good times, not blemishes. (I wish I knew the name of the guy that told me that on a trail ride, I'd love to give him and his wife credit because I love that line.)

UPDATE: my 2024 Braptor is in the shop for a detail and full PPF wrap. They’ve remove the Baja decals from the real fenders and hood as they had started peeling (I’m debating about reinstalling on the PPF later). They also just did a light wet sand to remove some etching from the decals and to address light swirls from prior owners. In process pics:

Just got her back from the shop… full ppf installed. Pics mostly in the shop when I picked it up. Last one in my driveway. Loving it. Really considered the mate finish but definitely made the right call with the high gloss.

Took mom out for her 80th...friend that joined us took the pic...for getting in, she liked the A-piller handle.

about $6,900 with a $600 discount for getting my wife’s telluride partially ppf’d as well. Roof isn’t painted so add $500-$700 for that as well if ur wrapping that.
