I do feel that the pinch welds are something that is not pleasing to the eye, but just something about all these covers, will cause stuff to stay in there, especially here in the northeast with our roads during the winter and create more damage to the body over time.

looks like a good quality product and not a bad price if someone is in the market for it.

These fit tight, so I don't think dirt or debris will get in easily. Leaving the area exposed could cause more damage. But if other parts are added, it's hard to know for sure.
