This would be nice without the extra lights across the top. Why does every aftermarket grill have these?

About 50 members here that i've ignored because i'm tired of seeing that they added another 12 billion lumens is why.

Because there are those who want others to think they have a Raptor. They usually dont evn know why those lights are on a Raptor, just assume its a styling cue.

Placing three lights on your grill in order to claim it is a raptor is a stretch that would make Gumby blush. Putting fender vents and signage, that's another story.

100%. As discussed in another thread, this would look better as just an egg-crate grille without any lights. It would require retooling investment, but hopefully they can pivot and make this variant:
