I’m planning an install of RCI rock sliders on my ‘26 Bronco Raptor and removing the front and rear OEM extended mud flaps from the wheel flares. For people that have done this do you regret it? Are you happy with doing it? The RCI sliders will require front wheel flare mud flap alterations and I’m planning an ADD rear bumper where removing the rear extended mud flaps just looks better.

Took the flaps off and never looked back.

I do have the Bronco wrapped with Xpel so I’m not worried about damage. It’s held up great on the trails and protected from lots of pinstripes without a mark.

Pulled mine and never missed them. Only real difference is what ends up on the lower doors and rockers — caliche dust down here gets everywhere either way. Sliders are worth more than those flaps ever were.
