275/70/R18s (33.2") on OBX. Raised the ride height by ~0.5", given stocks are 32.1', carried over the Badlands tires and gave them a slight bump up in size, since they are 32.7s. Looks great, fills up a little bit of wheel gap compared to BL, and gets your all the glossy AMB bits. This is my build, so figured I might as well share.

I know I have this other crazy thread about fitting 33s on the OBX, so PLEASE keep in mind they do not sell 275/70/R18s in C load, they are all E load, with the exception of one tire (which is a good one) - Goodyear Duratrac which comes in either a D or E load. Lots of wrangler guys have used this tire to upgrade their stock 18" wheels to the duratrac D load - other info on that in the 33" tire thread...and yes, this really would require the $800 upgrade to higher gearing. Anyway, here you go.

I included all three iterations below (that was my working photoshop file) so you could compare unpainted flares and silver grille on Badlands. After seeing AMB in person, i know that the paint is two shades darker than the CGI, and flares are probably 1 shade lighter than the CGI, so personally, i think having a darker body color than the flares will clash a bit. And after seeing shadow black OBXs with matching fenders and handles, it really looks SUPER clean.

The side by side below further confirms my decision to go with OBX trim for this color, plus after seeing the step in height of the Badlands, i know I'll need to swap out rock rails with steps. Additionally, after confirmation that roast dash is textured, not anodized plastic, and running the numbers that 33s will fit, the OBX is now kicked back up to the top of the list!

...oh, and tack on the recent findings that Baha mode should not be used as an alternative to sport mode, so no sport mode on BL, however, yes on sport mode on BL. 400 TQ with no sport mode is a bit of a bummer.

I think everything cloaked in AMB with the black grille is going to look pretty sinister actually. Bigger wheels get you a lift halfway to badlands which is a happy medium

also 33.2s are a third of the way from badlands diameter (32.7) to sas diameter (34.4)

besides - have you seen the ride height in badlands? The car really can’t serve much family duties if it needs to. Imagine a 5-2” woman pulling a kid out of a car seat. the step in height is 24”. The kid would be almost at her shoulders. As much as I want to get an OBX sas, I recognize it’s limitations.

OBX with a slight pick up in ride height for wheels is probably max comfort. This car is a lot taller than most think. Especially Sasquatch. Plus the tires are bigger than a BL. Perfect, for my needs, at least

It will be even better when you accept that you are buying a truck and not a car.

I think it's the combo of color matching flares and steps that gives it the mom look.

Oh yeah. I agree with that. Unfortunately I think we’ll need the steps and AMB with unpainted flares would like like crap. Maybe with sas flares it would be a little more acceptable. But yup, I get that statement.

I like the OBX a lot but I'm not totally sold on painted fender flares but will reserve judgement until I see it in person. What I don't like is the 18 inch rims, I wish there was another alternative besides the Sasquatch. I have 18's on my Sahara and you are limited on tires and they just don't look right. Other than that looks good!
yes you certainly are limited on tires. See my other thread https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/33-tires-fit-on-outer-banks-drawings-showing-fitments-between-the-trims-please-look-if-you’re-thinking-aftermarket-tires.9432/page-17

for 275/70/r18 there’s no C load
1. Goodyear Duratrac D load. 54 lbs. ok tread. Awesome performance, but some say could get noisy and worn out. Rubber is softer so great on snow and not great for longevity
2. Bridgestone Revo-3. All around great tire. Lightest E load at 50 lbs. downside is that’s it’s not aggressive.
3. Enter this morning, I stumbled across a tire that just came out. Toyo All-Country AT3. As aggressive as KO2s. E load but only 52 lbs however it’s even slightly bigger at 33.4-33.5. If this fits I’m gunning hard for this on the OBX. Otherwise I’ll get some off sized 17s with a 25-35mm offset (stock offset is 55) so they will have some poke (for better or worse)

here’s the Toyo AT3 275/70/r18. https://www.fourwheeler.com/how-to/wheels-tires/toyo-at-3-all-terrain-tire-review/

correction - they have two versions. 33.2 at 49 lbs and 33.4 at 52 lbs. so this beats out the revo for lightest weight and looks more aggressive too

Oh man. Now I’m getting really excited after finding these toyos. Bash the OBX and flares all you want. But envision this color...on a Bronco, with painted flares catching blue pops from the sun (since it’s a curved horizontal surface). Black grille, and these tires. Wow.

This is definitely an SUV. I can't haul a round bale in it, so it's not a truck.
