Did you get to see the soft top fully closed? Just wondering how it looks in person. Those rear side windows always look loose and wavy to me.

oh, no... not the usb charger below. i just meant the little shelf that's part of the same metal button. It could double as an ash tray for ants.

Spot checking payload. Sticker says 1135. The goat mode dial doesn’t show 4A. I’m assuming it’s 2.7 or else it’s payload would be much higher....Without 4A it’s GVWR is knocked down from 6100 to 6060. At 1135 payload, the weight is 4925 lbs, between min max 2.7 OBX curb of 4732-5179....interesting. Seems heavy since it’s non sas and a soft top. Oh! It has steel bumpers/bash plates/brush guard, that’s why. Good. Still hoping a 2.7 lux OBX sas hardtop non steel is a tick under 5100 lbs to achieve a payload exceeding 1000 with a 6100 GVWR

4925 curb
- 100 for bumper/bash/brush
+ 180 for Sasquatch
+ 75 for hardtop?
= 5,080 (feels right given max 5179 curb still allows for front steel parts weighing 100 lbs)

GVWR for 4A on OBX goes from 6060 to 6100

viola, 1020 (1000+) payload on an OBX 2.7 sas lux

I realize this is a Pre-Production vehicle but those pinch welds above the tube steps look horrendous! I hope Ford does a better job of tucking those up and in a bit on the production vehicles to hide that.

Okay... Bra-vo on the pics. Thank you!!

So many places I'd have loved to get a peek at, under seats, light controls, so many details. Fantastic work.

I can’t tell, but did you notice any wires for a rear wiper/ defrost on this soft top...pretty sure there would not be any, but still looking for good authority on it.

The front section was already folded back and then they demonstrated folding the whole top. It was folded minus the windows to enable the top to fit flatter. The window sections have a channel at the bottom and clips and Velcro at the top. It might be possible to finesse and get a tighter fit adjusting at the top section. I did not notice if the clips had a adjustment to pull the window section up into the top. Some of the distortion may be a result of folding without removing the window panels and not adjusting when the top is back in place.

Add another soft top with wiper/defroster hookup.

I never noticed this before. Whats with the silver fan button and what appears to be the world's smallest ash tray (lip coming off the same button)?

Edit: It's clearly a quick jog dial to be able to turn the fan up/down without looking down... but still it looks awful. TBH, this whole lower section gives off an early 2000's era Taurus vibe, and needs to be refreshed. But, I guess the 12" screen will distract me from looking down there. :p

(Thanks for all the pics by the way @kimmnen)
The new F-150 uses that fan button also.
