...
It's an interesting idea, basing it on that new Ranger concept that's been making the rounds.

Ford Bronco {thread} {filename}
I kind of like the Ranger version of this, but this concept 'Bronco' is way too long and the roofline is needlessly curved.

The proportions of this suggest 3 rows, and I would expect a Bronco to have a very truncated rear storage area -- the rear door doesn't even touch the rear wheel well. As for the design elements of the front fascia and hood, I think they could look good on an Expedition, but nothing about it says "Bronco" to me.

... I don't doubt though that the Bronco will look a lot more rugged.
Don't just look a lot more rugged, please Ford / Bronco Be more rugged, built tough, and hopefully reliable.

So many good renders. Hope Ford does not do worse.

Not me. Just good at Google-FU.

First has touches of FJ front end.
Second has touches of Troller front end
3rd has touches of classic bronco front end

I'd like to see the top/first render but with rounded wheel arches, I like the black fender flares but I think Ford will end up going with round rather than squared but that top/first is "FIRE"!!!

That's a Land Rover Defender with a 2004 prototype grilleI. Its not bad, but it doesn't particularly say "Ford Bronco" with its design language.

The third one looks the best to me, I prefer the EB design, but I'd want a hard top.

The 2004 prototype design of the second one never really appealed to me much. It's just trying too hard to be futuristic.

Take grill from 3rd, put it on second, got a winner.
1rst is pure FJ, no thanks.

Yep, I would like to see it like that, too. The grille on the 2nd could be fine, too. But the looks of the front just below the winch is repelling to me. Apologies to those who loved that 2004 concept front looks. But I did not. However the 2nd render chopped at the winch level and mated with the bumper of the 3rd render would be perfect for me. :rockon: Even if the grille stays the same. But it would look fine with the 3rd render grille, too. ;)

The roofline of the 1st render is similar to the Defender's roof line. I don't really see the FJ in it. But that is my perspective. Anyways the official "big muddy cover" outline debut of the Bronco - which is supposed to be a shape that is finalised - shows rounded wheel arches. So probably we shall not see these kind of rectangular wheel arches on the Bronco.
