Unedited iPhone pic…Yeah, when you get CO in the sun it really pops. You can tell there’s actual orange in it.
My 240 Z (71) was orange............. loved that car.........So I'm a photographer and yellow is color that's tough to accurately photograph and most people's photos aren't properly white balanced so it's going to look different in everyone's photos. That is, unless they properly white balance and color correct the photo.
Example, you can see in the first photo that jaws posted that the color is more orange because you can see that the white balance of the photo is warm (look at the grey concrete) compared to his other shots.
The other color that people always photograph wrong is CG. If you get the white balance even slightly warm then the super slight minty green in the paint doesn't show up. Or if you go slightly cold then it looks way too blue/green.
And then this also all comes down to what type of monitor you're viewing the photo on. If it's a cheap TN display at an office then color accuracy will be trash. The best thing to probably view photos on that's very common is an iPhone.
I have a 240Z in yellow (check my profile pic) that I have to painstakingly color correct so it looks like it does in real life. If I'm slightly off it can look more canary yellow or go the other way towards more orange.
Agree 100%.To truly appreciate CO, it has to be sunny. The metallic REALLY pops in the sun.
