It all started 7/13/20, 4pm AK time when the Ford Bronco reveal video started. I immediately started the reservation process and was successful at 4:05pm (8:05pm Eastern). Then the wait for order banks, finally 2/2/21 my order went in, May I received my vin and build week. July 23rd she was built, then promptly sent to dirt mountain. 10/14/21 the built email, shipped 10/18/21, arrived in Anchorage, AK 11/10/21 and I took delivery today 11/12/21 to my extreme delight!

I'm 32 and been a Ford fan all my life, I work in the vehicle upftting business for work, so I work with all the dealership fleet departments. My saleswoman is the fleet manager and I've know her all my life. It was an awesome experience buying my first brand new vehicle from her.

All that out of the way, the Velocity Blue Bronco, a 2.7, Outerbanks, sasquatch, Lux, MIC, Tow, upfitter switches and rubber floor mats.

I received it with 25 miles on it, the MIC 2.0 is pretty good, few slightly questionable edges but overall pretty good.

Driving my Bronco off the lot was the first time I'd ever driven one. What a hell of an experience! The roads are very winter like, so I couldn't romp on it much but what I could do, the 2.7 was impressive! 75mph on the highway there's some tire noise and slight wind noise. It's not surprising or annoying, with the stereo at 10 it was mostly drownd out and you can easily have a conversation with passengers.

I have snow tires that will be going on next week, but the Goodyears are very surprising! I didn't get the abs to activate once and it's pretty slick out.

I have a few mods that will be going on
315/70R17 Nokian Hakkapeliitta LT3's
Rigid 360 spot lights with white backlightāœ”
Bronco depo classic satin silver emblems āœ”
Redline hood strutsāœ”
Thinkware F200 dash cam

Photos from delivery today and photos of the first mods.

Grabbed some universal mud flaps and installed them. A little trimming with the air saw they fit well. Secured to the flare, running board and fender liner. Also installed the Bronco emblems, love how they look!

Very happy with the rigids. Took a drive 30 miles south tonight and they were awesome! Thanks for the kind words, just doing a few things to make it mine and functional. Even more so the adaptive cruise control and auto high beams make highway driving a breeze.

We'll see how it does in the cold, suppose to get below zero this week.

Took a few glamor shots, I can't get over how amazing this thing is.

Love itā€¦mine is ordered almost exactly the same, but will be living in the desert of Arizona. Velocity Blue OBX Sasquatch 2.7L, but with high package and steel modular bumper. Soft top and same interior color scheme except in cloth, which works much better down south in 110 degrees and the top off. Probably adding Rigid LEDā€™s along with a brush guard and more lights, and the same Redline hood struts. Will add a white hardtop and fenders eventually for an old school look. Where did you get you classic Bronco emblems, they look great!

Cool seeing a might-have-been build on some familiar roads. Is that first set taken up on the Hillside?

I thought I wanted a blue OBX Bronco with a brown interior like my old 75, but the gap between concept rustic brown vs the execution of the roast interior was too far for me. I'm on either Iconic Silver, Carb Grey Badlands 2DR with the black MGV.

edit: forgot you were a fleet order.

Yeah, I took it up to Flat Top first thing. I'm really happy with the roast/black. In person it looks better than any photo, but the same could be said for the Bronco in general I suppose.

You'll absolutely love it! Velocity blue was definitely the right choice for me, it POPS. I have plans to add more lighting, considering how dark it is here all winter. Hope you get yours sooner rather than later.

First tank of fuel in the books, filled it up with 90 octane. A lot of idle time and it's been cold with the Temps dropping in the next couple days. Heater, seats and wheels work great!

Rolled 500 miles today, I love this thing more and more. Holds heat very well, rear wiper is definitely useful. Love how hot the heated seats, I know some think they are too hot. I lowered the air pressure in the Nokian Hakkapeliittas from 40psi to 35psi. These are an LT tire and being on a lighter vehicle 32-ish psi may be better but we'll see.

After 13 days it's the perfect daily driver.

That wasn't me, this Bronco hasn't been further than 5th Ave yet. That's a gentleman on here that also has a VB 4dr Sasquatch and lives in Eagle River.
