Agreed. Just learned the black interior option will be late availability too.. So looks like we'll be getting the black interior and the shadow black painted hard-top. I don't mind waiting a few extra months to get an interior that wasn't made for 90 year olds.
Even now, in natural lighting, I'll never understand the color choice of the Navy Pier. It just looks god awful. They could've done so much better! (cough Filson interior cough)
Just a heads up, $15k in 1966 would be equivalent to $120k now.. Even the latest first gen in 1977, if it costed $15k at the time, would now be the equivalent to $64k. (due to insane amounts of inflation, thanks JPow)
Edit:
1966 Base $2,400 = $19.2k in 2020.
1977 Base $5,260 = $22.5k in 2020...
I'm wondering how I would wire up a tail/chase light like this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07HXWGGM9/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I bought one a while back that I never got around to putting on the Tacoma. Think I'd like to throw it on the Bronco tucked behind/under...
Mine will be squatched and used often for many long-distance road trips. The ability to get anywhere and handle anything is important to me when going camping in remote places.
I’ve never used the one on my Tacoma. I believe the truck has to be running (or accessory power on) for it to work.. I’d imagine you’d need the Bronco running to use an electric stove, but I have no idea how much power it’d draw
Haven’t heard anything else from Farley. He just said he’d pass it on to the Bronco team and that was it. I’m not exactly optimistic that we’ll get saddle brown, but I haven’t lost all hope.
Appreciate the info! I think the Bronco is going to be great competition to get Jeep’s ass in gear to fix a lot of QC issues and actually innovate more.
