You might be in luck. Another poster said that Stephens mentioned that 10 of the original top 70 have cancelled. Not guaranteed, but maybe gives you hope. I’m guessing quite a few others from the original 70 will also delay for a ‘22.
Yes Stephens. Great people. But Ford is screwing the consumer and dealers like Stephens (who are competing for our business) with their allocation formula. My hope is that the initial allocation was based on the number of reservations at Stephens back in Sept/Oct, before many of us moved our...
I‘m a July 15 reservation and I’m #169 at my dealer, and they only have around 70 initial allocations. Crazy that July 15 is out of the initial allocations by more than double. Makes me wonder if I will be in the second half of 2022 receiving my July 15 Bronco if I stay with them, as I don’t...
I’m not certain yet if the “retractable“ 2 door soft tops on the accessories guide are “fully retractable” like a convertible, or if they only have a retractable sunrider portion over the front seats, with the rest of the top not folding down and just staying in safari position with the windows...
I’m hanging in there and definitely will be driving my BD either ‘21 or ‘22. But, I thought it was worth hearing opinions on whether or not this allocation game is fully legal.
I’m on the bubble as a 7/15 reservation holder. So I’m likely going to miss out on a 2021 at my dealer because of allocations — but not because of my overall reservation order across the nation. That doesn’t sit right with me.
But, it also seems to fit the definition of ”anti-competitive”...
I believe the $350 top is the soft canvas Bimini, not the fastback softop shown in this thread and at CEMA. I’m guessing the fastback one is closer to $1,000, but that’s a guess.
While I like the idea of having a soft top for my 2 door, this one doesn’t fold completely back like a convertible I don’t think (you could see that the SEMA top didn’t have the right arms to fold back). So, I’ll wait until aftermarket for a 2 door soft top that folds down like a convertible...
Other similar ones available that go around the center camera but this is: Hollywood Racks SR1 2-Bike Carrier - Spare Tire Mount

While I’ll use a hitch mount for my multi bike rack, I’m also going to get a tire mount rack that will stay more snug against the vehicle and swing away with the rear door like this one on a wrangler.
No red flags. Kick ass vehicle the way it is. No other topless 4X4 other than a Wrangler which I don’t want. If there’s something I can’t get on my 2Dr BD in year one that I can‘t live without when it comes In the future, I’ll trade it in and get it. And, as said, who knows how long we have...
I did find an older pic with a partially camouflaged 2 door BD with steelies. Don’t think it’s CGI.
And since this post the 2 door BD with steelies pic below dropped on a different post.
Now need a full side view picture.
I started 4 door. Not sure why, but that’s what I’ve driven the last 25 years. Then it hit me that my kids are all off to college starting next fall, so why do I really need a 4 door? With a rack on top and a hitch behind for bikes and carriers and the rear seats folded down, I’m not really...
While I like the look of the OEM headliner covering the entire inner hardtop, I do worry a bit about how dirty that carpet material is going to get in my garage when I take it off frequently. From that standpoint it would be better to go without and just have the MIC plastic top. It would be...
This shows that the jagged edges probably wouldn’t show when the tops are attached to the vehicle, although hopefully they are even better in actual production. Now need to decide between this or Hothead.
Not sure if this is what you mean, but it looks like the silver broncos at the center of the BD steelies are on plastic pieces that attach under the lug nuts, so maybe a hub cap can fit this way as well.
