    All value is perceived value.

I don't know that the article has the the individual ratings listed. The trailer weights are listed in the test SAE standards.

  5. Costco Auto Program

None of my local dealers can beat the Costco deal. They'll say they can, but you don't get to see what the Costco deal is if they aren't part of the program, so you never really know. Also, they try to mark up the paperwork fees to make up for a lower "sale" price. The Costco deal is, by far...

It's like the sticker on the anything that has a maximum, or a rating or something that has a limit. The sticker shows what the manufacturer tested the product to provide to the customer. The manufacturer went through the process to have it tested, to provide some capacity or capability. If...
  13. Increase towing capacity with upgrades to suspension?

Can you provide some examples? A manufacturer could provide a lower than tested rating, but the tests are standardized tests.
  14. Increase towing capacity with upgrades to suspension?

It's about the gross combined weight rating through the manufacturer, what it is certified to tow, whether the vehicle has passed standardized tests to obtain a tow rating.
  15. So many conflicting takes on the 2.7

I wonder if most of the people even know what a short-block is anymore.
  16. So many conflicting takes on the 2.7

They will probably have stock of 2.7 and expect the supplies to run short.
