This is all very sad and old school thinking on the part of Ford. Why did they ever want to charge to sell us something (no way BN membership revenue amounts to anything in the grand scheme)? Why would they try to cut off a huge, consolidated base of rabid fans at 6G? Most modern companies would...
I'd get what you want. It's a guess, but probably September/October instead of July/August. Rumor is that tops are more of an issue than the interior. Ford has stated all FEs are MY21 so they're definitely getting some extra attention.
Glad to know I’m not alone in questioning the FE. However, I’m going all in regardless... 2.7, SAS, Lux, etc. All things being equal, Badlands would be about $3,200 less and seems only thing missing is decals, headliner, and painted handles and mirrors. About $5k less if I go with MIC to match...
First world problem, but struggling on my final choice. I have a very early FE reservation and planned to go with that, but now questioning whether Badlands is a better fit:
Color - no question... Cactus Gray either way
Interior - Black... like them both but actually prefer the orange stitching...
Glad we all agree on the Navy Pier. And you’re absolutely right on the interior colors/materials. To get everything else so right and the interiors so wrong is bizarre. They need to borrow an interior guy from Lincoln division. Not a Lincoln guy but they having so amazing interiors.
Ford -...
No offense, but you are way in the minority on this one. The dislike of Navy Pier as the only option has been discussed endlessly and is one of the more universal complaints on the forums. Regardless, Navy Pier has been and always will be an option. An all black option would be fantastic...
Completely agree. Great design and all the needed mechanicals only to be screwed up with complete trash for interior color and materials choices. Add yet another to the “out” list. FE is unoriginal and Navy Pier is a complete embarassment. And when it can’t be any worse, take away the...
This whole process has grown tiresome. I've voiced my disgust with Navy Pier multiple times and refrained from saying more for weeks. I'm happy to support and sign whatever anyone can do, but it's quite obvious Ford and Mr. Levine know exactly how a very high percentage of their most loyal...
We’ve been in agreement on all things FE, but I’m not ready to write it off yet. There is still plenty of unknown and time for Ford to come up with something good:
- it Is loaded with virtually everything
- will absolutely have a higher resale (more expensive model always has higher resale than...
Once again agree completely with Vintage, but will continue the repetition in hopes someone at Ford is paying attention. Navy blue is a bizarre choice. Black/Saddle would be a great option, but I’d be happy with any other interior option for the FE. We’re trying to give you our money, don’t...
Ditto. Except for replacing interior. Seats, doors, armrest, etc. Can’t imagine tearing apart a brand new interior.
Let’s get it back on topic of how to get at least one other factory interior option on the FE other than Navy Pier. Anything else! Please!
This pic is very misleading. Go to Ford.com Bronco Sport build and price tool. Choose the FE and take a look at the 360 view. The blue is much lighter, and very blue. As I’ve said, very polarizing and would not be the choice of the majority. I’m not a fan and would prefer anything else.
Totally wrong. After years of waiting, I got in on an FE reservation within the first few minutes. No matter how awesome (and everything else is pretty much there) I will not buy with an interior color I hate and/or am embarrassed to drive. So far I would take literally any other interior...
He's not alone. 90%+ here would prefer something other than blue and I would comfortably bet you can extrapolate that out to all the FE reservations. It's very polarizing, doesn't match the outside colors, and isn't even unique to the FE. Somebody at Ford made a bad call, they certainly know...
Don’t cancel anything and don’t bother talking prices with dealers. Tool opens in August spend a few months figuring your exact build. Come December, talk prices with each dealer, place order with one you want and don’t cancel others until order is placed.
Agree. And don't forget the potential for white tops! Who knows if any or all is accurate, but at least it makes for a more pleasant wait until the build tool is released.
Definitely will switch models and may just wait out the first year. But I have faith they won't do that to us. The launch vehicles all have great looking interiors and, if there was ever a question about how the navy would be received, the negative reaction in the forums has more than answered...
