NOTICE TO ALL RE: Bronco Nation Content [See Update]

Ford really has the customer goodwill thing dialed in.

    📷 2021 Bronco - OEM Factory Rims / Wheels Specs (Sizes + Offsets) ⚙️

At least give me some color options. All I can see in black steelies is 2004 Kia missing its wheel covers.

I’m still trying to cope with the idea of steelies as the default on a 50k vehicle.

Bronco does not have Lane Centering

I oppose any feature that reduces a driver‘s focus on his/her primary responsibility in a vehicle: DRIVING.

GRABBER BLUE would be the obvious, correct choice.

Well, isn't it if the sunlight hits it that way?

🟠 Cyber Orange Badlands 2-door w/ MIC hardtop

I wish I could convince my wife to agree on this color. Love it. Also, anyone who calls this "school bus yellow" doesn't understand that school buses are actually more orange than yellow. (y)

    Ford Estimated MPG Fuel Economy??

I live in northern Utah. 😀 Ultimately I guess my point wasn‘t “Why turbocharge?” so much as “Shouldn’t we be seeing an improvement in MPG?”

Ford confirms a green 2022 Bronco color for MY22! *Not Filson Wildland Fire Rig Green*

I said before that anyone who expects Ford to announce 2022 colors before the 2021s even ship is insane. The more I think about it, it would actually be a brilliant move. Temper the demand for 2021. More people will still want 2021 colors than Ford can produce, but many will opt to wait for...

"A BRONCO IS A BRONCO" - Buying a new Bronco, making payments, and affordability!

"Pristine," but not "brand new." They'll pay you "market value" for your vehicle, which is no longer the new vehicle price, because it was a used vehicle when the accident happened. They'll pull up NADA/KBB and tell you what the used vehicle value is and write you a check for that amount. And...

"A BRONCO IS A BRONCO" - Buying a new Bronco, making payments, and affordability!

Back in 2003 I paid cash for a new Honda Pilot ($32k). I kick myself every day that I didn't sink that $32k into Apple stock instead (of which I already owned some) and financed the Pilot at 5% APR. That $32k in 2003 Apple stock in 2021 would let me buy a new Bronco for every member of my family...

"A BRONCO IS A BRONCO" - Buying a new Bronco, making payments, and affordability!

Counterpoint: every dollar you put down up front is a dollar at immediate risk in the unfortunate event of vehicle loss (totaled in collision, theft, fire, flood, tornado, hailstorm, bad off-road decision, etc.), particularly in the first year or two of heavy depreciation. Whereas the value of...

Ford confirms a green 2022 Bronco color for MY22! *Not Filson Wildland Fire Rig Green*

Well, the honest truth is most of us are going to end up with a MY22 whether we like it or not.

Ford confirms a green 2022 Bronco color for MY22! *Not Filson Wildland Fire Rig Green*

I don't dig any of the darker shades of green that echo that Pontiac Bonneville your grandpa drove in the 90s. The Bronco is retro, but it's also "fun." It's a topless party on wheels. It needs a color to match. Lunar Green. (Though I'm also down with Lime and Boxwood.)

Ford confirms a green 2022 Bronco color for MY22! *Not Filson Wildland Fire Rig Green*

I've yet to see a "real-life" photo of Cactus Gray that looks anything like this. To me it looks like nothing more than primer gray in real life. And that's a shame.

Defender 90 vs Bronco 2 door

I have a buddy who bought a 110. Nice ride. A bit heavy on the gadgetry for my taste, and his was problematic until a recent software update (nearest dealer is a 45-min drive). His is very-expensive optioned. Ultimately though, the roof/doors don't come off. So Bronco wins.

    2021 vs 2022 as a collector

If you're one of those guys with more money than you know what to do with and you want to buy a new Bronco and ship it straight to storage as a "collectible," of course the 2021 is the one you want (and probably the First Edition at that). For the rest of us mere mortals, it should make zero...

Levine says 2022 Bronco (22MY) will get multiple new colors and special editions

"All the stuff we promised you for 2021 but couldn't deliver, plus a couple of new colors and one trim package that adds a few corny decals + exclusive paint color and another trim package you won't be able to afford anyway." Anyone who is expecting any major changes for '22 is crazy. The 2021...

    Ford Estimated MPG Fuel Economy??

Yikes, the numbers for the 2.7L are only slightly better than my 5.7L V8 Durango. What's the point of expensive, more-problematic turbocharging if it saves you diddly squat over normal aspiration?
