So a Computer, not controlled by man, lists a sold vehicle, and puts an ADM on the price, and thereās nothing that can be done? Next folks will see their orders going on test drives! And where are the dozens of pages on Cars.com and the like with ordered Broncos for sale?
Itās called Bait and Switch.
And illegal here in Massachusetts.
Call your Attorney Generalās Office and ask them if itās legal. Certainly not moral.
As I said, talked directly with Katzkin several times. Very helpful gal who gave me her direct cell and email.
Looked up closest installer, and said she coordinates everything. Even sent out several samples. If you search Katzkin/Bronco youāll see nobody paid the same price.
Total surprise. Had VIN, and tracking updates. Sent me photo, and note saying it would ship within a few days. Dealer was a dope, who throughout the entire process, would contact me a week or more after I would hear directly from Ford. (I thought it may be a stock photo they send everyone...
Funny how the Katzkin prices are so varied.
Using Katzkin local installer, set up entirely by Katzkin, I was quoted $2,082., with perforated inserts.
$3,600. with heat/cool. Including 6.25% Mass. Sales Tax. (Maybe because it's a 2-door?).
Same thing with my Nissan Frontier!
Itās parked in a garage at work and home. Nissan said Dealer determines if itās a warranty issue.
I bought a replacement from Nissan, and it happened again a few days later.
Cheap POS plastic!
Trying an aftermarket one next.
Can't imagine there's an actual color code/name for it. It's coloured plastic.
Any auto body would have color chips with a centre hole, so you can lay the chip over the color you are trying to match. I'd start with early 2000's Infiniti colours.
