Baby Bronco v Body on Frame

Yep, for sure. Accurate info is important. Carmaker1 seems to be the only one consistently talking about the vehicles by their model designation so I'm just deferring to what they have posted. You're correct, they refer to the Mach E as CX727 here as well (I guess Ford considers it 'compact'...

Baby Bronco v Body on Frame

If you just google 'CX430' you get a bunch of Ford's new products. If you google 'CX430 Bronco' you get some links supporting what Carmaker1 says. Also, the Ford 'C' platform is used under the Escape that the Baby Bronco shares a platform with, so CX430 makes a lot more sense to be the Baby...

Baby Bronco v Body on Frame

Found the code, according to Carmaker1 here, the code for the 'Baby Bronco' is CX430: https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/2020-release-or-20201.924/post-17655

Bronco to debut in April prior to NYIAS-Ford Authority

Sweet! That's a heck of a lot closer than June. Hopefully this is true

Baby Bronco v Body on Frame

    - Is the rumor that the body on frame (off road, U725) Bronco will debut first? Is this the four door in the photo below with the more vertical windshield? This is based on the F-150 Yes, according to recent news, I think we are expecting U725 Bronco to debut first. It is indeed the 4 door with...

[Unofficial] Production Bronco Renders based on Bronco R

Having only had Japanese SUVs with swinggates previously, but a pickup truck before that, I quite like the swinggate. It's quick and easy to get stuff in and out and there's only one thing to open (rather than swinging a tire out of the way and then a gate down)

[Unofficial] Production Bronco Renders based on Bronco R

https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/3rd-5th-door.735/post-13582 Michigan assembly will be constructing "Hoods and Swinggates" for the Bronco according to the doc Stampede shared. Not conclusive, certainly, but I'm inclined to believe that we'll be seeing an ecosport/defender style swinggate.

[Unofficial] Production Bronco Renders based on Bronco R

The union docs that we saw a few months ago specifically mention construction of swinggates for the new Bronco.

2021 Bronco Maverick (Baby Bronco) Interior First Spied Look!

Raptors have a forward camera for seeing what's right in front of the truck when off-roading, but as far as I know it doesn't do any recording, at least not in stock form.

Let’s talk about interior Design and dash board set up

There was this thread about interior stuff, but it wasn't about the dashboard specifically: https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/bronco-interior-plastics-synthetics-and-leather.915/ Personally I really dislike portrait oriented screens, I hope to see a landscape screen at least as an option...

2020 Ford Bronco May Get A 7-Speed Manual Transmission

I like the low first gear, but in that pattern 1 and 2 are really really close together (you don't have 2 on the line graph but it would be between reverse and 1st). I feel like 2-7 would need to be shifted way up, then have 5th as your 1:1 and 2 overdrives. Maybe 2nd around 3:1, and shift...

2021 Bronco Maverick (Baby Bronco) Interior First Spied Look!

We heard about something like that back when there was a thing about some of the electronic systems: https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/leaked-info-on-broncos-technology-off-road-navigation-adventure-capture-real-time-tire-pressure.851/ Something called 'Adventure Capture' is coming to the...

All arguments for the Broncos features

Welcome to the board! You and I are looking for similar things, I'm looking for a small off-road high performance suv to replace my 97 Pajero Evolution. Nice to have another person on here with similar desires among the rock crawlers and trail drivers.

Ford posts official Bronco mule off-road testing video

Plus, throttle by wire allows for: cruise control entirely in software without extra components different throttle mappings for different drive modes Launch control (not really relevant to Bronco, but still)

I thought the new bronco was gonna look like this

Yep, this is unfortunately the case. Especially now that even torque converter autos have better performance than a manual, to say nothing of DCTs. Manual transmissions being offered are a bone being thrown to enthusiasts. The C7 corvette had one of the highest manual take-rates in the...

2021 Bronco Maverick (Baby Bronco) Interior First Spied Look!

I agree that this one isn't as bad, but it looks like at least a third of the screen sticks up above the dashboard on its own which is what I don't like. If they want the big screen sticking up, I'd prefer that it was at least integrated into a cowl or something like the gauge pods on older jdm...

First (Actual) 2021 Bronco U725 Prototype SPIED!!

I don't want to tow a lot with a Bronco, but I think many of us would like being able to bring a small trailer along with us to tow a SxS, snowmobile, small camper, whatever. Personally I'd like the ability to put my Vette on a trailer and tow it if I wanted to. Around 5500lbs would be perfect...

I thought the new bronco was gonna look like this

You are aware that they are going to stop selling cars in north america apart from the mustang, right? CUV/SUV/Truck only going forward. It would make sense for them to have plans to convert the mustang name into something different a la Mach E. Not saying it's a good thing, but it makes sense.

2021 Bronco Maverick (Baby Bronco) Interior First Spied Look!

Didn't like the screen placement on the Escape, don't like it here. I've never been a fan of screens that stick up out of the dashboard.
