This is not a clear decision. The auto sway bar disconnect allows you to engage it while under load. The manual ones you cannot. So, yes, you can get out and get under the vehicle and disengage it, but then you need to get back under there and reconnect.
The auto is really a lot easier, and...
omg....so, 87 inches of vehicle, and 94.5 inches of garage door opening to get through...so, yeah, in total, 7.5 inches, divided by 2 = 3.75 inches each side...sigh. I'm a good driver, but man, that's really tight. The Badlands gives me a good amount of space more but I do believe for the...
I've never tried to put a wide vehicle in there but by numbers alone, it should work. Getting in and out should be fine as there garage is wider than the doors. I'm honestly just nervous about banging it into the sides of the garage with 4 inches clearance on both sides. If people seem to do...
We waited 1.5 years for my wife's Mach E...but, I did get it from a dealership that a buddy referred me to and I spoke directly to the owner. We now know each other and he wouldn't do this kind of thing on an ordered vehicle. I have already spoken to him about it. Small, independent...
thank you. I know the owner of the dealership I am using (and used for my wife's Mach E...which I waited for 1.5 years). He will not jump the price up. I cannot say anything good about Koon's (Maryland) but for I'd never deal with them again....
This is a great list to have, no question!
You can order any vehicle directly from Ford and it will be the MSRP. The dealer is not allowed to mark up the price this way. I did this with my wife's Mach E and it wasn't a problem...
94 is the width when measured with the doors open...let's call it the girth...lol. It's the open space that the vehicle can move in and out of...
Once in, there is space as there are two doors for two vehicles and there is a few foot space between the two doors...
Really locking down now between the BL loaded up or the Raptor...the issue of width does throw me off a bit. My wife's Mach-E is only 74 inches wide and although it fits easily in the garage, you do have to be aware of the sides (obviously). That's narrow by Bronco standards.
Well, I used the...
And then there are peeps like me. Get a Badlands and add the Hoss 3.0 parts? Get a wildtrak with carpet? carpet? why? Or get a raptor with all the goodies and it won't fit in my garage...sigh...
No easy solution here for me.
I was trying to follow what buttons you were hitting for lockers or sway bar disconnect....next time you're producing one of these amazing videos, if you could tell us what you're using for what terrain, it'd be like an amazing cheat guide. :)
