Ok, you put yours in eco and i'll put mine in sport. Then we race! Agreed, no more power, but it puts it in and keeps it in the "power" zone of the engine, = faster...
  2. Car and Driver Review: 2021 Bronco Wildtrak Tested: The Ultimate Bronco (for Now)

Maybe the Hoss 3.0 is great? We don't know yet. What we know is the Wildtrak has a wonky interior with no MGV or rubber floor. The cheap plastic rear bumper is awful. The mandator added tech adds complexity, price and weight. Did you know the Mid package alone adds almost 90 pounds? Then you...

  5. Those living with the 2.3…

Your preaching to the choir here. This is what Car and Driver found on a 3.5... At 128.7 horsepower per liter, the F-150's high-output V-6 engine is more power dense than a Porsche 911 Carrera's twin-turbo flat-six. Naturally then, the Ford hauls ass as effortlessly as it hauls a half-ton of...

  13. Real world MPG

You could be onto something here. I remember a test that Car and Driver did with different vehicles and different octane levels. The Ford 3.5 eco was the only one in the test that made more hp and got better mileage with high octane. That’s all I am going to run.
  14. Bronco TSB and SSM Notices

Yep, your right. If it was that simple there wouldn’t be a problem. Obviously the design has some major flaws. Between the windows rattling and the window indexing issues I have seen on the Bronco’s it seem to be across the board. I would be very surprised if any adjustments will correct theses...
  15. Real world MPG

Higher octane isn’t going to increase your MPG much if at all. It does though have the ability to produce more hp due to advancing the engine’s timing. More power doesn’t usually equate better mileage.
  16. Real world MPG

Heavier larger diameter tires have way more effects on efficiency than lighter wheels. “Lightening the tire or wheel some distance out from the hub reduces stored energy. This is especially true if the weight reduction is far out from the center. If we change the weight one-pound fourteen...
