Is anyone else having the hitch mount fooling the bronco into thinking there is a trailer attached? This is on a factory 7 pin connection.

It also disables the rear park assist.

I can't speak for rigidity or squeaking but something like this for the passenger roof panel to latch onto would be the shit. Then it could be driven(safely) with front panels and no back clamshell.

I installed these last weekend. Want to mention in addition 2 the (small) problem with the front 2 bolts, you have to loosen the 1st two bolts on the factory steps as well for clearance. Simple install. Hope they don't make the pinch welds rust quicker...

They're pretty stiff but they do have some flex.

I have rekgen installed and I'm digging them so far. They fit nicely with squatch and factory steps. I can send pics if needed/wanted.

@MayhemMike how did you attach the straps to the top? Can't tell from the pic. Are they completely wrapped around underneath of it?
