The bracket is actually designed to store the Jack at about a +10-degree angle for a reason. Storing the Jack horizontally can cause air bubbles within the unit which can lead to a leak. This slight incline prevents that.

Since the HOSS 3.0 is built to handle the factory steel bumper, I'd guess that it will sag but not as much as it did with your disco.
I'd still recommend upgrading the suspension to our heaviest load option. 250lbs+ is a lot of extra weight.
