I've been remote/work-from-home since 2015. I don't have a designated workspace, so I always park in a visitor spot. Its closer to the building compared to employee parking, too :)
Hello from the Charlotte area myself :)
The chip hold thing... yeah. A lot of vehicles are waiting on microchips for various components. At least some chips are flowing in. Its not back to normal by any means, but if you got the scheduled email, then yours is on-deck to be built as Ford...
On September 20th, I ordered the roof rack for my Bronco. Part number M2DZ9955100BA
Surprisingly, it arrived 2 days later.
However, one of the roof rails was broken.
The plastic where it attaches to the windshield header was split into 2 pieces.
I called, returned it, and they placed an order...
When I took delivery of mine, one was handed to me directly which I expected as they need a loose one to remove it from the carrier, and the other was shrinkwapped with all the papers that come with it (Manual, warranty forms, etc.). Did you get those papers/warranty forms?
I use those Bingfu mounts. Have two : one for CB and one for HAM. They work great.
And to answer the question about paint:
There is a bit of foam under one side, and an aluminum bar that goes between the screws and surface on the other. I just cover it with felt that way I have no scratches on...
Had the same problem with my passenger front window.
Just have to reindex the window. Easy to do.

Helping out my dealership here since they hooked me up on my Bronco and Maverick.

After installing, I can say the instructions leave a little bit to be desired, but it's easy to figure out.
Mine is installed, and it makes my day given how warm and sunny it is today as I plan to go for a drive later this afternoon:
The little notch/indent about 1/4 down the edge is just...
When I had my Wrangler, I had the Bestop Supertop for it and loved the ability to open and close the top above the front row seats with ease and used the ever-loving mess out of it once it started getting above 65 degrees outside.
Like others, I would have preferred a sunrider for both rows...
This is what I used:
SOLOMARK Gun Adapter (you may find similar for less; I just ran across this one first a and had an expiring gift balance to use.).
And you will need some Thumbnuts to match:
1/4-20 Thumbnut (20 pc)
From there, I did have to make the holes in the radio mounting brackets a...
I hope to hear from them tomorrow.
I don't need the rental/bulb/key options, just the 8/100/$100.
I got a quote (not sure which deductible it was though).
I do hope to hear from them tomorrow to purchase.
A huge thanks to @[email protected] for doing this, too. Much appreciated!
Welcome to North Carolina.
Yeah, they are appraising it like it's a Sport (my county did the same to mine). You should be able to call the local county tax assessor's office and request an appeal of the value. If its like my county, you will have to explain to them like they are 6 years old...
