Confirmed: Manual + Sasquatch Bronco, October Build & Price!

I wouldn't go so far as to say they lied. I'm sure this is not an easy process, especially when the community keeps pushing for changes to the product while you're putting the finishing touches on it. In two or three years you won't even care if it came out in October instead of Spetember...

Confirmed: Manual + Sasquatch Bronco, October Build & Price!

I absolutely agree! There's a lot of negativity floating around on what should be a happy occasion. Happy Mansquatch Day to everybody! I don't say this often, but thank you FoMoCo!

Best Bang for Your Buck Trim Level

I thought I saw that you can't get the tow package on the base. Its probably cheaper to get one aftermarket though given it's only some wiring and a poorly thought-out hitch.

Anyone else hoping that there will be a reveal of a fully electric Bronco? Or pretty much happy with the gas?

Especially if it's a stick IMO. It highly likely that this Bronco is the last ICE-only (and possibly even ICE at all!) vehicle that we buy, so why not make it a stick? Niche ^2

Today should be the day the interior packages are shown.

7PM local time rolling around the world, just like Harold Camping?

Why go 4-door unless you have to?

Absolutley it is, but I'd be worried about the five years before that. You just said "Isuzu" so there's a good chance that car seats for the littles were not the same then as they are now. Thank dog we can take the roof off - you'd definitely want it roofless when installing those seats in a two...

    Getrag Transmission: English or British?

Don't forget "design protected for hybrid version". I really hope that means what I hope that means.

Anyone else hoping that there will be a reveal of a fully electric Bronco? Or pretty much happy with the gas?

I think there was one PHEV with a stick at some point. The 7MT was initially advertised as hybrid ready (or similar language) so I'm holding out hope that we'll get a PHEV manual Bronco. How super unique would that be?

Is anybody else praying their current vehicle lasts long enough for the Bronco to be available?

We're needing the Bronco to come in soon. Our family hauler/trailer tower is at 240k km and puts on close to 20k per year. My commuter is at 210k km and puts on over 25k per year. In four years we will have both vehicles brushing the magic 320k km (200k miles), so we really need to replace one...

Sasquatch package with 2.3L + manual transmission Bronco - testing underway!

Especially since you can pop those flares off. No more driving around with huge flares sticking way out past your pizza cutters for half the year!

Is anybody else praying their current vehicle lasts long enough for the Bronco to be available?

Relax. You should have your Bronco "by 2022". At the very latest.

How will your Broncos get used?

That depends... Maybe my DD? I have a 106km commute so at ~$1.25 per litre (round number average for my area) that's ~$1.32 per L/100km of fuel economy per day I commute. So if this thing gets ~12L/100km for mostly highway driving (rough guess) that's still ~$16 per commute. That's getting...

    Towing Package question

The Bronco has the full frame rails around the top though so I'd hope that's not part of it. If it is one of the considerations then a) they should tell us, and b) they could require the hardtop with a max tow package. Or even a modified hardtop where the rear-most section is not removable...

Report: Manual Sasquatch Bronco is Happening (? or ! ... now revised to !)

I'm starting to get used to not trusting anything that they say. The quote from Ford in the article is "Lineup and powertrain offering configurations are as announced on July 13."; however, as of July 13th there was no actual indication that you couldn't get a Mansquatch. It took a tweet to Mike...

New Nissan Z... we got lucky being Bronco fans!

My wife had an '81 280ZX with a 5-speed when we were just fresh out of high school and to this day that is still the funnest car I've driven. Felt like it wanted to flip backwards if you punched it hard enough.

Anyone else hoping that there will be a reveal of a fully electric Bronco? Or pretty much happy with the gas?

Electric of some kind is the way of the future, it's just a matter of when that will be and what the storage medium will look like. Remember there were a lot of horses and no gas stations 120 years ago. Personally I'd love a hybrid of some sort for the advantages of both gas and electric -...
