  1. Bronco or RV?!

Congrats on retirement and the Bronco.. I am retired as well and really never had any interest in an RV. A Bronco will take you places the RV never could. I also prefer tent camping and staying at dispersed camp sites. I rarely ever stay at traditional camp sites.. To each their own but if you...
  2. 35s or 37s…?

My non sas Badlands has 34's and it does just fine off-road. I take it off-roading once or twice a month so it's not a mall build.. I think you'd be fine with 35's..
  3. Sirius XM sounds WAY better than radio!

Agree.. I've had Sirius, and then the merged SiriusXM, for about 15-18 years now.. People bash whatever service they don't use and promote whatever service they do use.. What's best is always just an exercise in people saying what service they use while bashing the all others. There are plenty...
  4. Gun / Firearm Racks & Storage [*** Storage Talk Only *** No Glorification, States, Laws, Permits, Politics or Usage Discussions]

Absolutely true but when a firearm is involved, I'd like to make it as difficult as possible for any potential thief..
  5. Gun / Firearm Racks & Storage [*** Storage Talk Only *** No Glorification, States, Laws, Permits, Politics or Usage Discussions]

I don't as I have a Power Tank system in the rear. I'd love to be able to modify one of the Jeep under seat options and those were awesome, heavy duty and very secure. The one I had in my JK even had a lip so getting a prybar in there would have been next to impossible..
  6. Gun / Firearm Racks & Storage [*** Storage Talk Only *** No Glorification, States, Laws, Permits, Politics or Usage Discussions]

Are you talking about their medicine cabinet? I did briefly look at that but I wonder how secure it is as all someone would need to do is unscrew a few screws and off they go with the entire unit.... Edit to add: I might give that another look. I thought about trying to adapt a Jeep JK under...
  7. Gun / Firearm Racks & Storage [*** Storage Talk Only *** No Glorification, States, Laws, Permits, Politics or Usage Discussions]

No politics please. (also, no laughing at my .380 either 😉) I am on the hunt for a small gun safe for the Bronco. My needs are a bit different as I roll with the hard top off for several months at a time.. Being topless, I think I need a little extra security.. In my old JK I had an under the...
  8. Now Available: HAVOC Offroad® California Brief Top

I predicted it would be garbage a month ago in this thread. https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/now-available-havoc-offroad%C2%AE-california-brief-top.90804/page-4#post-2191187 I've had similar type bikini's on my Jeeps and they were always flap, flap, flap trash.. I have the...

  14. Maiden Solo Off-Road and Camping Voyage in Bronco

Found my next adventure area.. It's mainly easy'ish trails with a few moderate'ish ones mixed in. Looks like it'll be a blast! Also looks to be a lot of side trail to explore and I love side trails! It's only about a 40 minute drive from my home as well so that's a win!!!! Green= Easy'ish (1-3...

  17. My 2023 Bronco Badlands 2DR Build

I was going to go with a Midland MXT275, antenna, mount kit etc for the Bronco but decided against it. I have and old Midland portable radio that's left over from the Jeep JK days. Battery life is horrendous and it's beat up. I generally off-road solo and on the rare occasion when I meet up...
  18. Maiden Solo Off-Road and Camping Voyage in Bronco

I generally air down (well, at least when I had Jeeps) anywhere from 15-20 psi. I am going to try 15 next time I am out and see how much of a difference the comfort level is between the 2 with the Toyo A/T III's.. My next trip will be end of the month'ish as I am planning on doing section 1 of...
