  1. WOLFBOX Jump Starter Review

I didn’t even know it was an option, but with the lack of testing they had done (no UL rating etc) I may get a lithium battery case for it lol.
  2. WOLFBOX Jump Starter Review

They asked me to post something as well. Just came up with general thoughts but didn’t have a method to test. They gave me one for just commenting on their release thread. Wasn’t even asking just an off hand comment.
  3. 2025 4Runner (6th Gen) Official Teasers! [Updated with 2nd Teaser: Roll Down Rear Window]

I’m just hoping the three row seating isn’t limited to the non-TRD models. New LC can even have three row in other markets but the hybrid battery lives there in the US spec.
  4. Wolfbox Jump Starter & Noco Comparison

Received this Wolfbox jump starter from them this week and was asked to do an “interview” of it. The communication that led to me getting this complementary starter was mixed at best. Anywho, my old Noco jump starter died after I’d used it to attempt to start a Continental that went fully dead...
  5. Rivian shocks with R2, R3, R3X reveals! $45K starting price, 0-60 under 3 secs, 300+ miles range, NACS port

Also why I give props to Kia for putting buttons back into the EV9 that weren’t in the EV6. It’s a great blend of keeping all that’s needed while not looking like button vomit.
  6. Rivian shocks with R2, R3, R3X reveals! $45K starting price, 0-60 under 3 secs, 300+ miles range, NACS port

I’ve been considering a three row EV for down the line to replace our RAV4 eventually, but really don’t want a massive SUV like an R1S or EV9. Would love if there was a hideaway third row available in the R2. Also wish they gave us some freaking buttons. You can get a model 3 for high 30s...
  7. My soft shackle failure experience 🤕 -- The Off-Road Recovery That Almost Killed Me

What damper would you recommend? Recently got a Rhino strap kit that also had soft shackles. Realizing after swapping to the modular bumper I’ll probably need proper metal shackles for the front now.
  8. WOLFBOX MegaVolt24 4000A Jump Starter!

Mine is older so apparently the best they could do was 20% off a new one on their site.
  9. WOLFBOX MegaVolt24 4000A Jump Starter!

Don’t think we have to speculate on that one lol. Curious about this though as one of my Noco’s just died.
  10. Best Budget Air Compressor for Sand

Definitely makes sense, fully plan on utilizing that button as I had fogs before.
  11. Best Budget Air Compressor for Sand

The $50 is definitely hard to beat, heck if I end up going with an ARB or something else down the line it’s still good to have. I’ve actually been eyeing your fog light setup ever since converting to a modular bumper. Just waiting on some house renovations to finish first lol
  12. Best Budget Air Compressor for Sand

Dually noted! Was wondering if the difference b/w the two was just the base on them. ps. hope to see ya out on the beach this summer
  13. Best Budget Air Compressor for Sand

Update: just purchased a used Viair 450p from someone selling their RV for $50. Should be picking it up tomorrow and diving in then. Definitely will still be doing the quad setup but have loved hearing how bulletproof the Viair offerings are. Hoping I can mimic the under hood mount someone did...
  14. Bronco EV reportedly on hold until early next decade (⚠️ ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS)

I am no pro on how EV drivetrains work, that may require some extra independent research lol. As far as why the Rivian is so fast, part of that does boil down to the motors. Not only does it allow the car to send power to each tire that has grip while one may be slipping in a drag race, but it...
  15. Bronco EV reportedly on hold until early next decade (⚠️ ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS)

From the article you quoted (bottom portion talking about Mach E GT): “MOTORS 2 permanent-magnet synchronous AC; combined output, 480 hp, 634 lb-ft; 88.0-kWh liquid-cooled lithium-ion battery pack” The wording may be funny, but I assure you it’s two motors. Example of Rivian with 4 motors...
  16. Bronco EV reportedly on hold until early next decade (⚠️ ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS)

That mileage is highly dependent on use case though. Driving around town in consistent stop and go? Added EV range from a PHEV or hybrid will be greatly beneficial? Doing a highway trip to work every day that’s 20+ miles at 65mph? Probably not worth it. Plus the Ford has the benefit of being...
  17. Best Budget Air Compressor for Sand

Appreciate the insight. Glad to see it’s solid in real world usage. @Tricky Mike was there any other developments on the mount in the cargo area? The box you mentioned looks solid but having it stored fully out of the way would be great. Also can the compressor be used for one tire on occasion...
  18. Bronco EV reportedly on hold until early next decade (⚠️ ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS)

The hybrid RAV4 we have has a CVT and I heavily prefer it to a traditional auto at this point. Will occasionally drive MIL’s Highlander and after feeling that first auto shift I immediately think it’s broken. Odd how perception changes.
  19. Bronco EV reportedly on hold until early next decade (⚠️ ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS)

I’m not super into a Bronco EV, but that’s also cause I wanted a manual transmission. Toyota is reportedly trying to develop an EV with a manual but that’s currently vaporware. Tbh if a car is an auto I don’t care that much if it’s an EV or ICE. What ICE cars should I be excited about that...
