  1. Transmission Cooler/Transmission Bypass

Wow, that is hot. 230 intermittent is probably OK, but probably not 240. Does it go into limp mode at 260? Whatever you do don't run the trans too cool. It is designed to run consistently between 195°F - 215°F (see below)...
  2. Bronco Raptor - ABS/Traction control Kill Switch

I've not needed anything beyond Baja Mode (automatically disables most/all traction and stability control) along with the manual traction control switch on the dash for very aggressive driving in the Glamis dunes. As I understand it, ABS is next to impossible to disable and that hasn't impacted...
  3. For Anyone Wanting Smoking Deals, Bronco Raptors Are About To Free Fall In Price

Well prices certainly are normalizing/stabilizing but as predicted: 1. They certainly are not free falling. Given the huge/rapid jumps in '23 and '24, all that has really happened is that a significant portion of those increases have been reversed. 2. MSRPs have not been lowered.
  4. Monkeys worked on my Raptor

Unreal, sorry for the hassle. Hopefully you can find a better dealer.
  5. LOW profile roof rack for Raptor

Check out the featured thread on the roof rack "database", there is no difference between a Raptor and non-Raptor roof rack.
  6. I watch Bronco Videos all day to pass the time

    Congratulations, I guess.
  7. Rear Shock Mount Bolt Protection Solution

Mabett makes front cap kits for A-arm bolts in nice clear anodized aluminum. Could you be thinking of this? Ping to @Mabett for a product idea here for Raptor/Rear.
  8. Comprehensive Roof Rack Comparison 5/2024

Great work @OP. The hardware for the JCR is a mixture of black oxide coated steel and stainless steel. Also a vote for the format and type above.
  9. Report: Ford Performance Tune for Bronco Raptor Arriving Q1 2024

Thanks for the time to investigate and share @raptorusmaximus .
  10. Test drove 2024 Bronco Raptor today

So conflicted. Worried about pinstripes but won't do PPF. More ground clearance on a Raptor than many jeeps with 40s and claims of belly dragging. Claims of belly dragging but critical of 37s. Yeah you're right the Raptor isn't "proper". The best on the market at low and high speed wheeling...
  11. Rear Shock Mount Bolt Protection Solution

I suspect the relatively low shock mounts are due to a combination of travel, packaging and desired handling characteristics. Many of the latter such as roll steer, axle wrap and understeer had targets to reach. More details here...
  12. Swamps Code Orange Bronco Raptor Build

Rear Shock Mount Bolt Rehab/Protection: I noticed some rock damage to the bolts (threads) connecting the lower shock mount to the axle. These bolts just stick out too far into the "line of fire"... I thread filed the threads to rehab them and added some stainless acorn nuts for future...
  13. Rear Shock Mount Bolt Protection Solution

I noticed some rock damage to the bolts (threads) connecting the lower shock mount to the axle. These bolts just stick out too far into the "line of fire"... I thread filed the threads to rehab them and added some stainless acorn nuts for future protection. I would have preferred a more...
  14. Minimalist Jack Upgrades (Raptor and Non-Raptor)

I have some additional measurements (for Raptor). If one only needs to get a single wheel off the ground for changing, strokes are of course much smaller with alternative/non-standard jack placements. Location Max Jack Height Required Lift Frame 14" 10" Front Lower A-arm 10" 2" Rear...
  15. Minimalist Jack Upgrades (Raptor and Non-Raptor)

This looks just like the one linked to above that doesn't really cut it. That's not a recommended jack location... Also what about the rear?
  16. Minimalist Jack Upgrades (Raptor and Non-Raptor)

Thanks. I should have googled more. This doesn't work for the Raptor - need jacks stands and blocks... If has a mere 5" of stroke. The poor OP there bought 4 of these... https://www.broncoraptor.com/threads/jacking-for-tire-rotation-changing.1325/ A Raptor solution needs a 14" or shorter jacks...
  17. Minimalist Jack Upgrades (Raptor and Non-Raptor)

I've only had to jack up my prior rig (4Runner) twice off roading. The factory jack, up on a flat support rock, was arduous but workable. I'm wondering if there is an upgraded solution from the Raptor factory jack that remains fairly minimalist while still being an upgrade? 1. Who has used the...
  18. Mabett Raptor Style Running Board Available Now!

Come on guys, know your own product and get the details correct! These are made of steel not iron and these two are not synonyms...
  19. Can this be fixed and for how much?

    Of course it's possible.
