  1. Ford stole $1,300 worth (262k points) of reward points - empty hardtop promises.

There's nothing to do maintenance wise other than oil changes, air filters, and tire rotations, all of which are an incredibly easy diy on the bronco. It'd take me a lot more time to deal with the hastle of driving out 35 miles to the dealer ship and 35 miles back...
  2. Ford stole $1,300 worth (262k points) of reward points - empty hardtop promises.

Sure, but the whole point was to use them toward a hardtop and ford still can't get their S together with that. That'd be like if you used an airline reward to fly to a certain destination, and only fly too that destination, and then they took that destinatio I did receive those emails, but I...
  3. Ford stole $1,300 worth (262k points) of reward points - empty hardtop promises.

Well crap, should've read the fine print... still a completely ridiculous policy!
  4. Ford stole $1,300 worth (262k points) of reward points - empty hardtop promises.

I took it in for warranty work at a Ford dealership 13 months ago, and they said it had to be within a year.... and yeah, Ford said too bad.... I get that some points could be subtracted after two years (like a gift card), but all $1,300 worth is insane!
  5. Ford stole $1,300 worth (262k points) of reward points - empty hardtop promises.

I went around to clean out my email spam box today and noticed that Ford had cleared out all of my 262k ford reward points on March 19th ($1,300 worth!! - I purchased the bronco after a 571 day wait from reservation till delivery on 3/19/22 - I never got to use a single point). I called their...
  6. DIY - Awesome Bronco base sound system upgrade with subwoofer for under $1,500 without losing space!

Sorry for the late response (haven’t been on the forums in a while), but that is a BAD location for the amplifier for me. I left the rear soft top windows open during a thunderstorm and both that compartment and the jack box compartment filled with about an inch of water. While everything else...
  7. For those w/ Sync4 Module Failure, how long till replacement module arrived/fixed?

Oof, that is rough! If I were you, I’d just ask for the bronco back till the replacement part comes in, because in my experience, it’ll take about 4 months to get that module delivered. it’ll sound janky, but get used to removing the battery negative terminal, if it’s gonna sit for more than a...
  8. How much should I sell my hardtop for?

Rally tops are only $4k, https://www.rallytops.com/shop/ford-bronco-hardtop-4-door/?utm_source=Google%20Shopping&utm_campaign=Rallytops&utm_medium=cpc&utm_term=428864&gclid=CjwKCAiAu5agBhBzEiwAdiR5tMHkk9sy8_uc22Jd65DNBUIxByOaJ5knthOvK1qHdQDWHezcJ85MlBoC4YAQAvD_BwE and while they don’t include...
  9. DIY - Awesome Bronco base sound system upgrade with subwoofer for under $1,500 without losing space!

I haven't looked into the B&O wiring set up, but from what I remember at the offrodeo, the lux sound system was pretty decent for me (but then again, I didn't try it out with the top down at 70 mph, haha). If the kick panel and dash speakers are wired in series, then yeah, you'd want the bass...
  10. DIY - Awesome Bronco base sound system upgrade with subwoofer for under $1,500 without losing space!

Inline on the positive wire to the speaker. I just crimped some splice connectors for the wiring connections.
  11. DIY - Awesome Bronco base sound system upgrade with subwoofer for under $1,500 without losing space!

I was thinking about that, but 1. I didn't have spare plastic for mounting (but plenty of zip ties!). 2. The speaker wire kit i bought barely had enough wire to get to the location I mounted it in, and was just short of where I wanted it to go if back in the passenger side rear trim (17 feet...
  12. DIY - Awesome Bronco base sound system upgrade with subwoofer for under $1,500 without losing space!

Nice! Sounds like a solid audio upgrade for even less $$!! I was thinking about going that route, but I guess I was scared to mess with the settings using forscan, especially after going through 4.5 months of no sound or screen at all from the sync4 module failure. I was also looking at...
  13. DIY - Awesome Bronco base sound system upgrade with subwoofer for under $1,500 without losing space!

It's definitely the tailgate table or the stinger subwoofer, not both. I just went and checked dimensions, the sub can be mounted up to 1/2" lower and 1/4" closer to the drivers side for clearance for the enclosure, but that's about it. It makes me realize that stinger tried to maximize sub...
  14. My Badlands took itself for a short "drive", twice.

I've had issues at the boat ramp a few times before with the bronco in park and the parking brake on idling, and it starts rolling backward (scary shit! don't want a flooded bronco!). First time, I thought it was just that slick (and it was, but not that crazy). Second time, I noticed the...
  15. Who else has almost ran out of gas ⛽?

I got down to 14 miles left today and filled up 20.3 gallons (gotta maximize those $1 off per gallon Kroeger fuel rewards!!).... so yeah, given my trip was averaging about 18 mpg, and the tank not including the funnel is 20.8 gallons, I definitely had less than a gallon left, and that miles left...
  16. Complete Stereo Overhaul (Upgrade From Base Stereo)!

The stinger off-road tailgate mounted sub and sub enclosure is a fantastic alternative and saves space with a lot of base (and weatherproof. I just made a whole write up about a much cheaper alternative than this, but typical for me and b6g, it hasn’t gained any traction.
  17. DIY - Awesome Bronco base sound system upgrade with subwoofer for under $1,500 without losing space!

For the TLDR: I replaced the front and rear 4” speakers with kickers https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07NS9FVKB?ref=nb_sb_ss_w_as-reorder-t1_ypp_rep_k1_1_6&amp=&crid=2T2H025PV0KGW&amp=&sprefix=kicker I also added 300Hz bass blockers for the dash 4” kicker speakers...
  18. 2022 Bronco vs. 2022 Wrangler impression after Day 1

I absolutely understand the want of the manual, and that's only with the 4 cylinder. But damn that v6 is AWESOME and i would absolutely recommend it for the price if you're getting an automatic! The hp is solid, but it's the torque that throws you back in your seat and gives you the rush that...
  19. For those w/ Sync4 Module Failure, how long till replacement module arrived/fixed?

Yeah, my guess is they're working their way through the system hopefully in some sort of first come, first serve order. They aren't on back order, they're just using the ones they have to build more Bronco's than fix the existing issues... At the end of the day, Ford is run by bean-counters...
  20. What's your unpopular Bronco opinion?

I mean, I leave my 4dr BD sas out in the rain with the doors off and it's just fine. The MGV seats dry out and don't mildew, and everything stays fine. I take 10 seconds to pull the soft top back to drive, and 5 seconds to pull it up when I park to keep the seats covered and keep the front...
